Job Overview

The Infrastructure Technology Lead Analyst is a Senior level role responsible for assisting with LAN / WAN and help desk administration activities, including network maintenance, technical guidance, and security in coordination with the Technology Infrastructure team. The overall objective is to use infrastructure technology knowledge and identified policies to process data, resolve issues and execute administrative tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Create complex project plans, perform impact analyses, solve/work high impact problems/projects, and provide resolution to restore services

• Provide Root Cause Analysis (RCA) post restoration of service

• Design testing approaches, complex processes, reporting streams, and assist with the automation of repetitive tasks

• Provide technical/strategic direction to team members

• Review requirement documents, define hardware requirements and update processes and procedures as necessary

• Ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements

• Responsible for applications dealing with the overall operating system

• Conduct project related research

• Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.

• Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.

• Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.

• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

• Introspectively review NSS operating procedures, daily support practices, major incident support, and provide feedback to the leadership team for the purpose of continuous service improvement and operational excellence. 

• Foster innovation.  Work with SMEs and Engineering colleagues to ensure NSS support services stay ahead of the market.   Think about what we do today versus what we should be doing tomorrow.

• Drive operational efficiencies.

• Maintain awareness of all NSS workflows and automation/efficiency opportunities.

• Utilize the wide range of tools to enhance efficiencies within NSS Operations.   Provide input to NSS management on automation enhancements and workflow optimization opportunities

• Provide Technical Support for Citibank’s global network Services Operation and support of standard enterprise Multi-vendor Internetworking Technology solutions which includes the following platforms: Load Balancers (F5 and Citrix), DNS (QIP/IPAM), Juniper Routers, Cisco IOS/ SDWAN/IOS-XR/Wi-Fi/Wireless; Arista

• Provide Technical support for Automation which includes the following tools: Ansible, Python, SQL, Oracle, Tableau, SaaS, JIRA, Confluence, GitHub, SharePoint

Qualifications:

• 6 plus years of experience in roles centered around infrastructure delivery (application hosting and/or end user services) with a proven track record of operational process change and improvement

• Understanding of how specialization within area contributes to the business and of competitors' products and services

• Ability to develop projects required for design of metrics, analytical tools, benchmarking activities and best practices

• Ability to work with virtual / in-person teams, and work under pressure / to a deadline

• Experience in a Financial Services or large complex and/or global environment preferred

• Effective written and verbal communication skills

• Effective analytic/diagnostic skills

• Language Skills beyond English are a plus.  Areas of need, but note required: Spanish, Portuguese

• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audience

• Intermediate level working knowledge of Cisco/Juniper/Arista routers and switches, SDWAN technology, Cloud services platform and routing protocols: EIGRP,  BGP, OSPF, RIP,

• Any of following Industry Certifications are highly preferred, but commensurate knowledge base in absence of certification is acceptable:

  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) is highly preferred and required within 1 year of hire.  

  • Cisco Certified Network Associate is preferred (CCNA).

  • Juniper Networks Certified Internet Associate/Specialist/Professional (JNCIA, JNCIS, JNCIP)

  • Information Technology Infrastructure Library – Version 3 Foundations (ITIL Version 3)

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$125,760.00 - $188,640.00
