Job Overview

The Full Stack Engineer for Citi's Private Database Cloud role will be responsible for developing Citi's private database cloud, leveraging the latest web and cloud tech stacks. A successful applicant must be a strong communicator and should have experience with front and back end web technologies, CI/CD and containers. Database and infrastructure experience is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Engineer, design and implement front and back end components for Citi’s private cloud initiative.

• Responsible for managing DBaaS web portal and back end processes.

• Evaluate new Cloud technologies and perform proof of concept evaluations.

• Application tuning, performance optimization and maintenance

• Application monitoring and alerting automation

Qualifications:

• 5 plus years in a product development/product management environment

• Proficient in Java and Python.

• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Angular, or similar modern web development frameworks.

• Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases, including Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.

• Comprehensive understanding of all phases of the software development lifecycle.

• Proven ability in microservices design and development, API integration, and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

• Ability to understand business functions and user stories, and decompose them into clear technical specifications for application and microservices development.

• Experience with Agile development methodologies, preferably Scrum.

• Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate seamlessly within a global team.

• Good to have experience with Ansible for automation and configuration management.

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$107,120.00 - $160,680.00
