Job Overview

Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst for its Irving, Texas location.

Duties: Write Java code to build the Operating Fact Manager software program, used to track metadata of Citi's risk and franchise critical applications. Remediate regulatory concerns with consent order deliverables. Assist in designing architecture of various software solutions, including secure networking solutions, fault tolerant database storage, and high availability microservices. Plan deployments and automate applications monitoring. Review code written by junior developers, and diagnose root cause of any defects found in software and implement code patches to fix them. Engage with the business to gather and analyze the requirements. Mentor junior developers and train the team on use of modern artificial intelligence toolsets. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Electronic Engineering, Engineering (any), Computer Information Systems, or related field and 6 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience as a Software Developer, Software Analyst, Computer Programmer, or related position involving applications development, deployment and monitoring.  At least six (6) years of experience must include Java programming. At least three (3) years of experience must include: Angular programming; Oracle database engineering; IntelliJ integrated development environment; Gradle build tool; Maven build tool; and Spring framework.
