Job Overview
The Banking organization, which includes Investment Bank, Corporate Bank and Commercial Bank, oversees the delivery of the full firm to clients in over 90 markets where Citi has an on-the-ground presence. It harnesses the power of Citi’s talent, expertise and global reach to serve large and mid-sized company wherever they do business and achieve their strategic objectives.
We are seeking a Vice President to join the Asia Banking Business Execution team responsible for supporting the franchise heads across Investment Bank, Corporate Bank and Commercial Bank in Asia cluster - executing business strategy, support day-to-day management of the business, driving operational excellence and promoting a robust control environment.
The ideal candidate should be an effective communicator who can work alongside country and cluster Business Execution team members to formulate and execute business strategy and related initiatives for the Asia Banking franchise. Thought leadership, problem-solving ability and commercial awareness are essential attributes. A good understanding of the Banking industry, related risks and regulatory environment will be essential.
Responsibilities:
- Assist leadership and stakeholders with management of projects, determining strategies, and defining/providing metrics
- Prepare materials, record minutes, and follow-up as needed on items for business committees and/ or regular business meetings
- Seek out sources, track, consolidate and analyze ad-hoc and regular business requests
- Drive implementation of business-driven projects across functions, working closely with relevant senior leadership
- Provide input into and recommend technology change, process improvements and control framework enhancements
- Communicate business knowledge, product knowledge, and requirements to business and internal support functions
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

Qualifications:
- 8 - 12 years of experience in Banking, financial services, consulting or business support
- Intellectually curious and self-starter who can identify opportunities and execute independently
- Commercial focus, ready to take ownership, and proactive mindset
- Comfortable with large datasets, strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrated expertise of Microsoft Office product suite, basic macro coding experience and proficiency in Microsoft Access, PowerPoint and Tableau preferred
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience
- Master’s degree preferred
