Job Overview

Citi’s Banking franchise is organized around three lines of business: Investment Banking, Corporate Banking and Commercial Banking. The unified Banking and International organization oversees the local delivery of the full firm to clients in each of the 95 markets where Citi has an on-the-ground presence.


Citi Investment Bank provides advisory, debt and equity capital markets solutions for corporations, governments and financial institutions.

The Investment Banking Senior Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for assisting clients in providing strategic advisory services for mergers, acquisitions and other types of financial transactions in coordination with broader Investment Banking team. The overall objective of this role is to act as a strategic advisor to our clients by formulating investment strategies for clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with senior Investment Banking officers and professionals and participate in particular client transactions projects or assignments as the junior member of the Investment Banking team
  • Responsible for organizing and analyzing sophisticated financial data used in client proposals and strategic plans
  • Prepare written recommendations, valuation materials and statistical exhibits for pitches and live deals
  • Draft and create marketing materials, including pitch books, confidential information memorandums and management presentations
  • Evaluate company’s financial performance compared to overall industry and market trends
  • Build complex financial models for valuation purposes

Recommended Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of relevant experience
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong technical and presentation skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a rapidly changing environment
  • Proficient in English. Mandarin capability is a preferred

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
