Job Overview

The JANA LMS Head role is fundamental to lead the local Services business for the cluster. This person will develop, implement and execute the LMS business strategy in alignment with the Global LMS product pillars while ensuring the maintenance of a pristine risk and control environment.  Will work in partnership with the country LMS teams, Local Franchise Business Lines Heads and Operations and Technology teams to ensure full alignment in the execution of the strategy and to guarantee delivery of the LMS products to our clients.

This role focuses on leading the LMS business in JANA, successfully develop and execute the strategy and plans for growing the franchise in the country. LMS is an integral part of solutions to our clients. JANA LMS business contributes ~$100 Bn of deposits for the JANA Geography. Similarly, contributes to $170 Bn of deposits of JANA clients across Citi’s global network

The JANA LMS Head works in partnership with Global LMS Pillar Heads to define the product strategy for the country. This includes product offering definition, new product development and alignment with operations and technology to guarantee the cluster has the right infraestructure to deliver the LMS solutions to our clients; while complying with Risk and Control requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy and Business

- Develop, implement and execute business strategy to support our growth targets.

- Responsible for the day-to-day management of the JANA LMS product business including oversight of the P&L management and budgeting

- Partner with the country LMS Leads, Business Line Heads, Technology and Operations to ensuere full alignment to execute the strategy.   

- Lead campaigns to commercialize new and existing LMS JANA solutions. Partner with client relationship managers and sales teams.

-Partner with Operations & Technology to assure product delivery within standards and to reengineer existing products to gain efficiency and market expansion.

- Work in collaboration with partners in Client Operations, Client Experience, Implementation, Technology, Product and  the Client Success team to contribute towards positive Voice of the Client results

- Responsible for the interaction and partnership with business and regional Citi treasury for deposit strategy, hedging program and treasury policy for JANA.

·-Develop the investment case across JANA for LMS product innovation investment spend to introduce and embed game changing solutions including real time liquidity, and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives across the network, including migration of both Commercial and Corporate clients to our target state platforms.

-Develop a strong client-centric orientation through consistent and high-quality client engagement with key funding providers. Ensures the client lens is applied when LMS product strategy and balance sheet optimization tactics are developed and executed.

People

· Recruit, retain, train & develop talent in the organization.

· Take necessary steps to deliver Voice of the Employee (VOE) survey excellence.

Risk Management & Governance

· Ensure focus on Risk, documentation and Compliance programs and NAC.

· Achieve Sufficient Assurance Internal Audits for the JANA region.

· Work with Global Product partners to ensure compliance with overall product management with appropriate controls.

· Ensure that the business governance framework is effective and complete, including escalation protocol within the business and the 2nd line of defense.

· Ensure visibility and interface with key regulators from time to time.

Value Proposition

· Develop a response to the increasing digitization of the industry in JANA.

· Ensure the ongoing and consistent transfer of expertise; share best practices across clusters and geographies within and outside of JANA.

· Ensure visibility in the marketplace and provide advice, insights and solutions to the client base.

Key Stakeholders

· Partner with and take a leadership role as a member of both the Services Global LMS and Core Accounts ExCo and Services JANA Leadership teams.

· Partner with and take a leadership role with Business/Citi Treasury.

· Work closely with other relevant stakeholders including Sales, Corporate and Commercial Banking, Finance, Legal, Compliance, Risk, Operations and Technology.

· Serve as senior lead and contact for Citi's key clients in the region.

· Meet and maintain relationship with key Citi partners and industry consultants.

Qualifications:

· 10+ years of experience, including 5+ years' managerial experience.

· Knowledge of industry players and ecosystem, as well as industry networks preferred.

· Excellent communication skills, recognized as a strong team leader.

· Solid knowledge of liquidity, regulations, asset-liability management and funds transfer pricing practices, regulatory & market practices and bank operations.

· Recognized execution and result oriented skills.

· Entrepreneurial approach, strong client relationship skills.

· Innovation oriented with strong track record of executing game changing solutions.

· Analytical thinking, data interpretation, integration skills, creativity and flexibility is required.

· Dynamic personality: takes initiative and ownership, motivated and resourceful.

· Product, sales and business management experience.

· Strong collaboration skills, and clear proven ability to work with broad group of stakeholders.

Education:

· University and/or Masters degree preferred.
