Job Overview

Are you looking for a career that places you at the technical heart of investment compliance for a global financial institution? Bring your skills in analysis, problem-solving, and system configuration to our Business Support Unit (BSU), the Global Center of Excellence for the Charles River (CRIMS) application.
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be a subject matter expert responsible for the hands-on implementation of investment compliance rules. You will be tasked with the critical function of interpreting complex compliance limits from legal documents (prospectuses and matrices) and translating them into precise, working syntax within the CRIMS environment. This is a technical, hands-on role for an analyst who excels at turning business logic into functional system solutions.

Responsibilities:
●    Analyze and interpret complex business requirements, prospectuses, and Fund Matrices provided by our business partners to determine the optimal technical implementation within CRIMS.
●    Code, configure, and implement new and updated investment compliance rules, reports, and queries directly within the Charles River (CRIMS) application.
●    Manage the end-to-end implementation of change requests received via JIRA TTS, from initial requirements analysis and effort estimation to final production release.
●    Conduct rigorous unit and system testing in the UAT environment to ensure all rule configurations are accurate, efficient, and meet the intended business logic.
●    Perform meticulous maker-checker reviews for all configurations to ensure the highest level of quality and accuracy before deployment to the production environment.
●    Serve as a subject matter expert on CRIMS functionality, logic, and syntax, providing expert advice and analytical support to our business partners.
●    Challenge the status quo by identifying opportunities for innovation and process improvement within the CRIMS rule implementation lifecycle.

Key Skills and Experience:
●    Direct, hands-on experience with an investment compliance system is essential; experience with Charles River (CRIMS) is strongly preferred.
●    Proven ability to translate complex business rules and legal document wording into logical, functional system configurations and code.
●    Preferred Experience: Prior experience in investment compliance monitoring, fund accounting, or fiduciary/trustee services is highly desirable and will be a strong advantage.
●    Strong experience in business and systems analysis, with a focus on technical implementation rather than just requirements gathering.
●    Experience with UAT testing and test scenario creation from a technical, system-focused perspective.
●    Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to dissect complex problems and devise effective system-based solutions.
●    Excellent knowledge of English (spoken and written).
●    Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment as part of a highly skilled technical team.
●    Experience in supporting operations teams with production issues and system queries is a significant advantage.
