Job Overview

Analytics and Information Management (AIM) is a global community that is driving data-driven transformation across Citi in multiple functions with the objective of creating actionable intelligence for our business leaders. We are a fast-growing organization working with Citi businesses and functions across the world. 

This Vice President Analytics/Reporting Lead role is part of the AIM COO Operations Reporting COE team based in Gurugram, India, supporting the multiple Line of Business across COO org.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for end-to-end delivery of reporting solutions, from requirement management to implementation. 
  • Responsible for toolsets like Tableau, MicroStrategy for developing automated reporting solutions that are scalable and can be re-purposed.
  • Lead a team of SMEs (Developers, Analysts, etc.) 
  • Translate data into consumer or customer behavioral insights to drive targeting and segmentation strategies, and communicate clearly and effectively to business partners and senior leaders all findings
  • Stay current to industry trends and emerging technologies in data analytics/ automation/reporting to constantly improve process and methodologies.
  • Liaison with Business, R&C teams, Operations and Technology stakeholders to identify reporting automation opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience building scalable BI/Analytics solutions
  • Proficient with data manipulation and problem solving to effectively work with large datasets and drive actionable conclusions. 
  • Good knowledge of project management principles, good at stakeholder management.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citi, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing, and reporting control issues with transparency.
  • Understands the concerns, challenges, and roadblocks the team is facing and provide them with all the required support to overcome the same.
  • Extensive knowledge of leading BI solutions using tools like Tableau, MicroStrategy and data architecture
  • Hands-on experience in Tableau, MicroStrategy, SQL and have strong RDBMS concepts.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and VBA 
  • Workflow management tools like Jira, Confluence, Bit Bucket (Version Control) etc.
  • Should have excellent communication and inter-personal skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Responsible for managing resources effectively and sharing best practices. 
  • Mentoring junior members in the team

Education:

  • Bachelors/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
