Role Overview:
The Transaction Svs Sr Lead Analyst is a senior level position responsible for managing operation’s project book of work, liaising with Technology, Business, Controls, and Operation partners. The objective of this role is to lead operations engagement in modernization and transformation initiatives as well as support operations projects to enhance straight through processing, driving efficiency and improving the risk and control framework.
Responsibilities:
- Act as primary operations lead on franchise wide projects that impact NAM Wire Clearing Operations. This would include technology driven projects as well as operations projects to improve efficiency, risk, and controls.
- Lead projects and manage the resolution of complex and varied issues.
- Engage with Operations and Technology to resolve issue that can be operational or technological in nature.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in business, planning and analysis, as well as an analytical and/or procedural expert representing operations on cross function process or project deliverables.
- Apply and analyze operational processes and best practices to recommend customized business solutions to internal clients.
- Oversee resource management and allocation of work and advise or coach new or lower level personnel.
- Drive the operations agenda to deliver on overall Operations & Technology projects and deliver within plan.
- Work with Product and Technology partners to build and deliver cutting edge digital tools and assist client facing teams with roll out.
- Apply comprehensive understanding of concepts and procedures within own area and basic knowledge of other areas to resolve issues.
- Negotiate internally, often at senior levels (across functions) and with external parties, as needed.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in a related role
- In-depth Cash product and operations knowledge
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
- Comfortable being able to present data to stakeholders
- Ability to quickly grasp and master new concepts / requirements and related product / functional knowledge
- Ability to work independently, multi-task, and take ownership of various parts of a project or initiative
- Ability to give focused attention to details and deliver high quality work while managing competing priorities under pressure
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong teamwork skills with ability to work and partner globally across different geographic locations
- Senior to advanced level experience in a related role
- Proven record of leading projects and executing strategies
- Proven work organization / prioritization skills
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
