Job Overview
The Prod Ctrl Sr. Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for ensuring the completeness, accuracy and integrity of the Firm's books and records in coordination with the overall Markets Controllers Finance team. The role focuses on Financial reporting of Markets and US Broker Dealer Legal Entity results on a monthly basis, providing performance analysis to various stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Lead in the preparation and analysis of business and legal entity financials for senior stakeholders
- Establish strong working relationships with partners globally and across multiple functions (FP&A, Risk, Treasury etc.)
- Assist in provide thoughtful and clear commentary as well as talking points for executive management in preparation for Board presentations and monthly reviews
- Articulate the story on the business’ financial performance at month and quarter-end
- Apply in-depth industry knowledge towards the development of new techniques and improving processes or work-flow for the Finance department
- Serve as a subject matter expert within Finance
- Analyze data by filtering, prioritizing, and validating moderately complex information from multiple sources
- Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
- Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
- Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
- 1-5 years of relevant experience
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking; Critical thinker/problem solver that can drive qualitative & quantitative analysis, embracing ambiguity in available data & input.
- Mastery of Excel, PowerPoint and Word, both to help train and guide others as well as to apply these skills as required
- Strong communication skills in order to guide, influence and convince others, especially colleagues and partners across the firm
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:
$70,080.00 - $105,120.00
