Job Overview
The Resource Management Team sits within the Finance CAO Organization. Our Mission is to serve as a trusted partner across Finance to drive transparency and accountability of Citi’s Resources. Specifically, this role is for Citi’s Workforce Management and is reporting to the Head of Resource Management.
The individual is responsible for enhancing and revising the Finance Organizations’ workforce management processes while ensuring governance and compliance with all of Citi’s and the Finance organization’s policies, procedures, and processes. The successful candidate will primarily drive strategic initiatives as part of our ACT program (Consent Order) - specifically Demand and Capacity, as well as awareness of Skills and Job Architecture. Focus will be placed on Demand and Capacity with planning as key outcome as a core, BAU practice. Additionally, individual will help drive strategic location strategy. Enhanced control and governance of this process is an expected outcome.
This individual will work closely with SMEs to achieve the target state objectives and outcomes. This is currently an Individual Contributor role with leadership expectations to affect change.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive workforce management strategies, including hiring processes, resource allocation, and talent development, ensuring alignment with Citi's overall strategic direction.
- Redesign and enhance existing workforce management planning frameworks and processes to improve efficiency, transparency, and data accuracy. This includes refining the monthly Workforce Management Hiring Process with clear controls and escalation paths.
- Provide Finance and its disciplines with accurate data on key workforce factors such as location, job grade, skills, and job profiles. Develop and maintain governance metrics and reporting across diverse stakeholders. Oversee transformation and BAU headcount reporting, including ACT reporting.
- Partner with Citi's forecasting (LFO) and recruiting (HR) teams to align resource planning cycles, optimize operational practices, and minimize staffing adequacy risk. Drive strategic location strategy and planning as a core, BAU practice.
- Collaborate closely with SMEs across various functions, including human resources (talent acquisition, learning and development), to ensure effective implementation of workforce management initiatives. Provide executive level governance and status reporting.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations related to workforce management. Execute and maintain enhanced governance for monthly and quarterly Workforce Tagging processes.
- Optimize Finance onboarding processes and oversight reporting for new resources. Create and maintain oversight on transformation and BAU headcount reporting.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within resource management.
Qualifications:
- Ability to think strategically and translate business objectives into actionable workforce management plans.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to influence and motivate teams.
- Extensive experience in program management, with a track record of successful project delivery.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and draw meaningful insights.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences, including executive leadership.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
- At least 8-10 years of overall experience in workforce management or a related field.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
This role requires on-site presence in Getzville, NY three times a week. Remote work is not an option.
