Team/Role Overview
The Product Management Lead Analyst is a senior level position responsible for the development of product plans, strategies and tactics in coordination with the Product Management team. The overall objective of this role is to coordinate the promotion of products to develop new markets, increase share of market and obtain competitive position. This role will act as a Product SME for Encumbered Accounts (Pledged, Client Money and Safeguarded Accounts) within day-to-day workflows, senior interactions, and client-facing discussions. The role involves collaboration with internal stakeholders for planning and execution of Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) and working with technology to develop strategic solutions for automation and process enhancement.
What you'll do
As a Product Management Lead Analyst, you will:
Act as Product Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Encumbered Accounts, managing product pathways, senior interactions, and client discussions.
Deliver and maintain Encumbered Accounts controls, including MCA ARCMs attestation, PAP Product Proposition, Capability Grid maintenance, and R&C Client Asset forums.
Collaborate on Corrective Action Plans (CAPs), defining product propositions, interim processes, and remediation activities aligned with roadmaps.
Ensure internal partners are informed of current offerings and developments through updated training materials, communications, and reference collateral.
Work with Technology and Agile teams to develop strategic automation and process enhancement solutions to reduce implementation turnaround time (TAT).
Contribute to strategic product roadmaps for core products, including development, launches, and marketing to maximize benefit and identify market trends.
Execute client value propositions, positioning, segmentation, pricing, targeting, channel strategies, and competitive differentiation to achieve preferred partner status.
Appropriately assess and mitigate risk in all business decisions, safeguarding Citigroup's reputation, clients, and assets, ensuring compliance with laws, policies, and transparently managing control issues.
What we'll need from you
This section is about the candidate. We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional with a strong background in product management and financial services:
University graduate, preferably in business, finance, or marketing.
Significant experience in financial services with a proven track record and understanding of Payments or Cash Management.
Experience in managing payment products or other cash management products, with an excellent understanding of current regulatory and market developments impacting the payments industry.
Demonstrated knowledge of marketing, credit, acquisitions, product development, and/or analytics.
Strong financial, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with comfort in using analysis to derive conclusions.
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication, with very strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
Good project management skills to deliver results, work unsupervised, manage deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
Possession of a client-first attitude, passion for excellence, focus on execution, and attention to detail.
Ability to challenge the status quo, work on own initiative, influence and coordinate multiple internal stakeholders, and operate at different levels (e.g., research, thought leadership, technical requirements).
