Job Overview
Agency and Trust offers a comprehensive suite of agency and fiduciary services to support issuances of debt in both domestic and international markets.
The role within the Domestic Market group is a challenging fast growing operations environment where the candidate will have the opportunity to expand his/her knowledge of the different products offered within the Securities Business. The role will require the candidate to assume responsibility for day to day processing of the full Domestic Issuance and Domestic Markets teams processes. This will involve acting as a first point of contact for any queries related to the teams’ processes.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a junior member of the team to cover the following processes: Domestic Markets & Domestic Issuance.
- Daily monitoring of tasks to ensure all deliverables are completed in accordance with their corresponding cut off times.
- Act as first point of contact within the team - liaise with other teams and clients to resolve escalated problems.
- Demonstrate ability to manage internal and external client relationships, to ensure the department responsibilities and objectives are met.
- Review daily checklist ensuring all tasks have been signed as completed.
- Complete any clerical tasks/activities within area depending on staffing levels and volumes.
- Continuously develop prioritization and multi-tasking skills, with ability to delegate work where necessary to ensure urgent and unexpected tasks are completed.
- Ensuring all non-vanilla requirements are rolled out effectively across Agency and Trust and reflected in our core system ATIS, including liaison with Issuers and Front Office to ensure full understanding of their bespoke requirements.
- Complete weekly MIS reporting with justifications for volumes, aged items and fluctuations.
- Ensure Department Audit Requirements and procedures are adhered to.
- Ensure the completion of all UAT for system enhancements
Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent Client service skills
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills & ability to work accurately under pressure meeting strict daily deadlines.
- Maintain high work rates irrespective of fluctuating volume.
- Ideally from an Operations background with a sound understanding of financial securities.
- Domestic market payment and issuance experience an advantage.
- Pro-active approach to workflow management.
- Agency & Trust /Corporate Trust Operations advantageous.
- Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience in Business, Accounting, or Operations
