Job Overview

The Asset Servicing Analyst is a professional role. Requires a good knowledge of the range of processes, procedures and systems to be used in carrying out assigned tasks and a basic understanding of the underlying concepts and principles upon which the job is based. Good understanding of how the team interacts with others in accomplishing the objectives of the area. Makes evaluative judgements based on the analysis of factual information. They are expected to resolve problems by identifying and selecting solutions through the application of acquired technical experience and will be guided by precedents. Must be able to exchange information in a concise and logical way as well as be sensitive to audience diversity. Limited but direct impact on the business through the quality of the tasks/services provided. Impact of the job holder is restricted to own job.

Responsibilities

• Manage the reconciliation and processing of positions related to Voluntary Corporate Action events, including communications and postings.
• Perform routine operational tasks such as administering defined procedures, preparing reports, and resolving problems through investigation and research.
• Execute multiple transactions of moderate complexity, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established standards.
• Apply analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools to identify process improvements and support project implementation.
• Contribute to recommendations for process enhancements, new products/services, and platform upgrades based on data interpretation.
• Minimize operational risk by adhering to procedural requirements, monitoring errors, and ensuring compliance with audit and control policies.
• Timely escalate all requests, inquiries, issues, and errors to appropriate management channels.
• Utilize good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively exchange information with colleagues and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s/University degree preferred or equivalent practical experience.
• Related experience, preferably within asset servicing or a financial operations role.
• Good knowledge of operational processes, procedures, and systems used in asset servicing.
• Basic understanding of the underlying concepts and principles of corporate actions and investment instruments.
• Knowledge of multiple investment instruments, including Equity, Fixed Income, and Asset-Backed securities.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, and Access is desired).
• Demonstrated ability to make evaluative judgments and resolve problems using technical experience.
• Proven success as a team player with effective communication skills.
