Job Overview
Job Purpose:
The Product Manager will provide support on product implementation initiatives within UAE Wealth Management. They will work alongside various teams to drive strategic product initiatives and provide SME advice and input to support the growth of the Deposit Book in the UAE and lead key strategic and regulator driven payments initiatives.
This will require conducting detailed analysis of the business, processes, controls, governance, and front to back operating issues; defining corresponding solutions; and working with Front Office, Change team, Vendors, Control Functions, Technology and Operations teams to drive the implementation of solutions.
The role will involve interfacing with key senior stakeholders and internal clients across the organization.
This is a hybrid working role with a requirement to work at least 3 days a week from the Oudh Mehta Tower Office in Dubai.
Key Responsibilities:
The candidate will be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:
Control Objectives & Standards
- Working with the Product Manager, build and implement the product control framework and keeping the document up to date
- Develop and maintain subject-matter expertise on product programme and procedures, keeping the document and processes updated
Transformation and technology book of work
- Support delivery of regulatory, operational, and strategic commitments tied to product quality, controls, and technology improvement.
- Lead coordination of technology builds with relevant stakeholders and vendors
- Identify opportunities to streamline product processes
Product Daily Operations
- Maintain and groom relationship with frontline distribution and operations colleagues and act as the primary point of contact for these teams
- Support frontline teams and respond to troubleshoot and pricing queries in a timely manner
Knowledge/Experience:
- Strong familiarity with deposits and payments would be regarded favorably
- Experience in implementing changes including writing Business Requirement Documents, testing and governance frameworks
- Demonstrated understanding in product processes and process re-engineering
- Experience in deposit and payments regulations will regarded favorably
- Experience in large scale programmes
- Strong Excel/Data skills would advantageous

- Good presentation abilities, especially when presenting to Senior Management
- Ability to quickly grasp and master new concepts / requirements and related product / functional knowledge
- Fluency in written and spoken English is mandatory
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree as minimum
