Job Overview
Credit Risk Analyst is an intermediate-level position responsible for assisting in credit reviews and monitoring of the credit portfolio. This role identifies policy and applies specialty knowledge in monitoring and assessing processes and data. Integrates established disciplinary knowledge within own specialty area with basic understanding of related industry practices. Good understanding of how the team interacts with others in accomplishing the objectives of the area. Develops working knowledge of industry practices and standards. Must be able to exchange information in a concise and logical way as well as be sensitive to audience diversity. Limited but direct impact on the business through the quality of the tasks/ services provided. Impact of the job holder is restricted to own team.
Responsibilities:
- Participates in administering defined procedures, analyses and report preparation.
- Learns and understands the credit environment, market / economic conditions and how they relate to the division and overall firm's risk exposure and tolerance.
- Learns and expands credit knowledge, banking regulations, credit environment, Citibank portfolios including existing policies and procedures as well as industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Primary focus is on daily deliverable of routine and defined outputs, while at the same time developing knowledge of the broader context in which the work is being performed.
- Escalate credit concerns/updates to senior risk and business managers and propose risk mitigation action to be taken by staying continuously informed of related developments/news for the portfolio and industry covered and understanding the credit process, policies and Citi's risk appetite
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
- 3 years related experience
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Proficient in English and Bangla
Education:
- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience

- Support Risk related projects as required
