Job Overview

The Ops Sup Manager is an intermediate management level position responsible for providing full leadership and direction to a team of employees in an effort to provide operations support services in coordination with the Operations - Core team. The overall objective of this role is to ensure the seamless delivery of operations support services in alignment with Citi operations support infrastructure and processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Operations Support department through delegation of tasks and responsibilities for multiple teams
  • Conduct performance evaluations, compensations, hiring, disciplinary actions, and terminations of team members as well as determining staffing needs
  • Monitor team’s end results, ensuring quality and efficiency and contributes to resource planning, budget management and formulation of procedures
  • Contribute to development of new techniques, models, and plans within area of expertise
  • Facilitate alignment of the Operations Support infrastructure through focused technologies and processes
  • Ensure compliance with government regulations as they pertain to retail accounts serviced through the evaluation and implementation of appropriate control and testing measures
  • Provide evaluative judgement based on analysis of information and in-depth knowledge of policies and procedures in complicated and unique situations
  • Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
  • Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
  • Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
  • Ability to manage teams. 
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.


Qualifications:

  • 5-8 years of experience managing a team
  • Experience in analyzing business requirements, developing test plans, and discrepancy resolution
  • Required Licensing/Registration: Series 7, Series 9, Series 10, and Series 63
  • Ability to work unsupervised and adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
  • Self-motivated and detail oriented
  • Proven organization and time management skills
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills


Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience

Descripción general de la posición:

· Atender la red de 1,260 sucursales para la mejora de procesos con impacto tecnológico

· Coordinar y asegurar implementación de mejoras en aplicativos front utilizados en la red de sucursales sin impacto en más de 13 mil equipos.

· Gestión de un portafolio de proyectos (Book of work) para operaciones sucursales para atención de desarrollos mandatorios y de negocio.

· Track de comunicación y capacitación a la red de 11 mil empleados de sucursales sobre liberación de features

· Presentación de iniciativas y obtenga aprobaciones de más 20 áreas de riesgo y control para readiness operativo en los comités correspondientes

· Construya una fuerte relación de colaboración entre los equipos de Ops Sucursales y las áreas de tecnología, procesos sucursales y comités para aprobación de iniciativas/proyectos tecnológicos.

· Definición de funcionalidades (épicas e historias de usuario) sobre los distintos aplicativos que hoy se utilizan en sucursal.

· Presentación de iniciativas de proyectos en los distintos comités que sea requerido y/o áreas de control.

· Aprobación de las matrices de pruebas definidas para cada proyecto/funcionalidad.

· Sanity post implementación, test en sucursales sobre las liberaciones realizadas por tecnología.

El rol debe comprender:

· Normatividad, Instrucciones de trabajo y controles aplicados a la operación actual de sucursales

· Estándares básicos de gestión de proyectos, como la planificación de planes de trabajo, entregables y escalamiento.

· Diagramar flujos de proceso punta a punta incluyendo actividades, sistemas, controles y escenarios que puedan presentarse. Generación de análisis y Business case orientados a la mejora del cliente, reducción de tiempos y desperdicios en operación.

· Documentar la evidencia de las pruebas a realizar.

· Aprobación de iniciativas en comités de riesgo y control

· Seguimiento con equipos de tecnología, desde definición de épicas, historias de usuario, refinamiento, matriz de pruebas, seguimiento, pruebas y liberación
