Job Overview
The Business Sr. Lead Analyst is a strategic professional who closely follows latest trends in own field and adapts them for application within own job and the business. Typically a small number of people within the business that provide the same level of expertise. Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Accountable for significant direct business results or authoritative advice regarding the operations of the business. Necessitates a degree of responsibility over technical strategy. Primarily affects a sub-function. Responsible for handling staff management issues, including resource management and allocation of work within the team/project.
Responsibilities:
- The position requires a candidate with general management skills, leadership abilities and administrative experience, who can manage and lead a variety of activities geared at helping manage a global organization with resources and providing data & analytics solutions to all regions and lines of businesses. This includes building ties with other business teams. The individual will be a direct report to the Global Consumer Services Head of Data & Analytics while working closely with the senior Decision Management leadership in their planning, definition and execution of organizational strategy.
- The Business Sr. Lead Analyst will ensure that data is summarized from across the business to provide critical information to executive team
- Partner directly with various players across decision management groups, analyze data and evaluate multiple sources to develop recommendations on high-priority strategic initiatives, including the annual strategic plan
- Formulate and shepherd cross-franchise initiatives and programs from conception to completion
- Help to manage executable strategies, partnering across the organization
- Establish best practices and principles for the decision management organization globally
- Financial control - In conjunction with the team - understands the complexities of the department Profit and Loss (P&L); appropriate accruals, client allocations in order to improve operational efficiency and productivity.
- Program/Project Management - Help provide oversight of the Business Critical Milestone Reporting process and various other executive / client / management reporting processes. Ensure quality, efficiency and accuracy throughout the reporting process.
- Communication - Work with the team and respective Decision Management leaders on the communication strategy (e.g. town halls, new hire events) for the department and facilitate the development of communication materials and presentations for senior management, including C-level management, the Board of Directors, Operating Committee and other key stakeholders as required
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
· Expertise in financial reporting in Technology Areas.
· Strong project management and organizational skills, capable of navigating complex global/local governance structures.
· Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, highly fluent in Spanish and English (written and verbal).
· Proven track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder roles in a global banking environment.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-pressure environment.
· 5 year experience in Financial reporting or Chief of staff roles coordinating activities along large technology related areas.
Education:
- Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred

The Finance Liason & Administrative Lead will managed the financial, regulatory, and reporting activities supporting the Transition Services today provided by Citi to Grupo Financiero Banamex.
This role will be pivotal in ensuring the integrity of financial reporting and compliance with applicable Mexican regulations (CNBV, Banxico, SAT) and global banking governance frameworks, and alignment with the parent bank’s standards while enabling a smooth transition to a standalone, publicly listed and completely independent entity.
