Job Overview
The Data Integration Sr Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities that support the execution, enablement and adoption of the Data Transformation Plan and/or support of use cases through collaboration with Functions, Regions and Lines of Business. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Responsible for handling staff management issues, including resource management and allocation of work within the team/project.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of people. Oversees management of people, budget, and planning, to include duties such as performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary action/terminations and may include budget approval
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, including the day-to-day execution activities and meetings
- Should be aware of the project status, and coach project leads on approaches to address and escalate potential risks and issues
- Collect information from team for content development and execution to support presentations for Governance forums
- Oversee day-to-day activities related to the overall program / project, and associated dependencies
- Support resolution of project issues and/or offer solutions to resolve complex problems, with ability to interpret against policies, guidelines or processes
- Liaises with multiple Data teams/departments, and serve as subject matter for planning and analysis of project deliverables and processes
- Guide work streams focusing on broad range of data initiatives including data requirements, issues management, Data Quality rules, lineage, Data Governance and taxonomy
- Guide development of business requirements, process mapping of current and future state processes
- Support implementation of strategic design and process improvement projects across lines of business and functions working with Technology and Operations and other support organizations
Qualifications:
- 6-10 years relevant experience in Banking or Finance preferred
- Communicates effectively, develops and delivers multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences; able to drive consensus, and influence relationships at all levels
- Collaborates effectively by building partnerships and working well with others to meet shared objectives
- Strong negotiation, influencing and stakeholder management skills across a variety of stakeholders
- Ability to work under pressure, facilitate discussions
- Possesses a comprehensive understanding of how own area and others collectively integrate to contribute towards achieving business objectives
- Familiarity with data concepts
Education:
- Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience, Master's degree preferred
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Desired experience in Data industry with sensibility in customer data and operational risks.
- Leadership skills required.
- Desired previous experience stablishing operational controls and designing strategical projects.
- System knowledge to define technical requirements from a customer an operational view.
- Previous experience managing PII data and creating user stories and technical requests
- API knowledge, waterfall and agile methodologies desired
- Desirable experience working in customer operational areas
- Desired experience or knowledge about database administration and risk projects
- Experience proposing mitigation plans / actions for the identified risks or issues timely.

• Discuss ideal candidate / specific candidate / referrals: conocimientos o manejo de PII (información sensible )
• Education: Formacion en ingenieria industrial, sistemas o alguna carrera a fin.
• Industry / Previous Experience: giro de banca o finanzas.
• Technical Skills / Knowledge: Conocimiento en SQL avanzado/ APIS (aplicativos) / Python intermedio a avanzado, SAS (deseable)
• Technology / Program experience: Paqueteria Office
• Soft Skills: Experiencia en manejo de personas, equipos de tamaño medianos, gestión de presupuestos, iniciativas, capacidad de trasmitir ideas en juntas con directivos, comunicación verbal, escrita, capacidad de síntesis y negociación.
• Languages Required: ingles intermedio.
