Job Overview

The MIS Analyst is a developing professional role. Applies specialty area knowledge in monitoring, assessing, analyzing and/or evaluating processes and data. Identifies policy gaps and formulates policies. Interprets data and makes recommendations. Researches and interprets factual information. Identifies inconsistencies in data or results, defines business issues and formulates recommendations on policies, procedures or practices. Integrates established disciplinary knowledge within own specialty area with basic understanding of related industry practices. Good understanding of how the team interacts with others in accomplishing the objectives of the area. Develops working knowledge of industry practices and standards. Limited but direct impact on the business through the quality of the tasks/services provided. Impact of the job holder is restricted to own team.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the management of information and reporting systems
• Should be able to provide intelligent analysis by using all available and relevant data
• Advanced automation skills and reporting
• Ensures the data integrity according to information security and integrity policies
• Correct design and execution of control mechanisms
• Generates and maintains documentation of existing reports or MIS
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

• 0-2 years relevant experience
• High proficiency in Excel and aptitude in Access, Word, Visual Basic Prior
• Experience with SAS required
• SQL programming knowledge, solid in SQL
• Basic programming knowledge in Python
• High degree of accuracy and eye for detail
• Ability to establish effective working relationship among staff and foster group cohesiveness and teamwork

Education:

• Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
• Preferably careers: Economia, Actuaria, Matemáticas Aplicadas, Ingeniería en Computación, Administración or related

Entre 0 y 2 años de experiencia relevante.

Dominio de Excel y aptitudes para Access, Word y Visual Basic Prior.

Preferentemente, experiencia con SAS. Conocimiento del lenguaje de computación.

Alto grado de precisión y atención al detalle.

Habilidad para establecer una relación de trabajo efectiva entre el personal y fomentar la cohesión y el trabajo en equipo del grupo.

• Es responsable de la gestión de información y los sistemas de informe.
• Debe poder proporcionar un análisis inteligente utilizando todos los datos disponibles y relevantes.
• Capacidades avanzadas de computación e informes.
• Garantiza la integridad de los datos, según las políticas de seguridad de la información e integridad.
• Diseño y ejecución correctos de los mecanismos de control.
• Genera y mantiene documentación sobre los informes existentes o el sistema de información de gestión (Management Information System, MIS).
• Evaluar adecuadamente el riesgo cuando se toman decisiones comerciales, demostrando una consideración particular por la reputación de la empresa y protegiendo a Citigroup, sus clientes y activos, al impulsar el cumplimiento de las leyes, las reglas y los reglamentos correspondientes, acatando la política, aplicando un juicio ético sólido en relación con el comportamiento personal, la conducta y las prácticas comerciales y escalando, administrando e informando los problemas de control con transparencia.
