Job Overview
The Investment Analyst is a developing professional role. Deals with most problems independently and has some latitude to solve complex problems. Integrates in-depth specialty area knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices. Good understanding of how the team and area integrate with others in accomplishing the objectives of the subfunction/ job family. Applies analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies. Requires attention to detail when making judgments and recommendations based on the analysis of factual information. Typically deals with variable issues with potentially broader business impact. Applies professional judgment when interpreting data and results. Breaks down information in a systematic and communicable manner. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to exchange potentially complex/sensitive information. Moderate but direct impact through close contact with the businesses' core activities. Quality and timeliness of service provided will affect the effectiveness of own team and other closely related teams.
Responsibilities:
- The Private Bank at Citi (CPB) is part of the Institutional Clients Group and offers a wide range of products and solutions, including investment strategies, banking and lending, trust and specialized services.The Private Bank delivers solutions to help meet the individual, family and business needs of over 10,000 ultra-high net worth clients around the world. The Private Bank is focused on clients with a minimum net worth of $25mm and serves 40% of the world’s billionaires and their families.
- The individual in this role will be expected to oversee the investment processes for international discretionary trust accounts and helps manage investment risk.The responsibilities of the position include the following:
- Establishing the investment objectives for discretionary trusts
- Determining the appropriate asset allocation and manager selection strategies
- Performing periodic investment reviews, generating reports and presenting the results to senior management
- Managing risk exposures in trust accounts
- Reviewing and approving investment requests and proposals
- Performing investment manager due diligence and ongoing monitoring
- Preparing risk management reports for management and oversight committees.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years relevant experience
- Investment management experience with a focus on international trust/fiduciary management and open architecture for traditional and alternative investments, including manager research and due diligence.
Education:
- Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience

2 años en atención a clientes en segmentos Financieros.
Opcional: experiencia en temas de Fideicomisos y/o en Onboarding o Implementación de Productos.
- Conocimientos
De preferencia que tengan conocimiento de Fideicomisos o temas de Implementación de productos financieros.
- Objetivo del puesto
Responsable de recabar la documentación durante el onboarding de clientes del segmento fiduciario, es un puesto profesional que requiere conocimiento del rango de su proceso, procedimientos y sistemas que se utilizan en las tareas asignadas y una comprensión básica de los conceptos y principios subyacentes en los cuales se basa el trabajo.
Debe tener una buena comprensión del modo en que el equipo interactúa con otros equipos, ya que coordina que todas las tareas se concluyan para lograr los objetivos del área. Debe poder intercambiar información de manera concisa y lógica, y ser sensible a los detalles de cada tipo de deal.
- Objetivo del área
Implementar los contratos de Fideicomiso en el menor tiempo posible y ofreciendo una experiencia única a los clientes internos y externos.
Funciones principales del Puesto
Este puesto gestionará la preparación y revisión de la documentación de los nuevos deals así como waivers del segmento fiduciario, al mismo tiempo, proporcionará apoyo a distintas tareas relacionadas con el negocio fiduciario.
Interacción con otras contrapartes o áreas en torno a la atención de los clientes del segmento fiduciario.
Seguir los procedimientos establecidos para identificar y resolver problemas en relación con las actividades del BAU, apegándose en todo momento a las líneas de control vigentes en el área.
Minimizar el riesgo para el banco a través del cumplimiento de sus actividades en concordancia con los procedimientos y controles, utilizando su conocimiento y skills.

- Excelentes habilidades de comunicación oral y escrita para la creación y presentación de documentos de trabajo y entregables.
