Job Overview
The Field Sales Team Lead is an entry level position responsible for providing full leadership and direction to a team of employees in an effort to deliver a full range of sales support activities in coordination with the Consumer Sales team. The overall objective of this role is to ensure the seamless delivery of support services to Citi clients and to assist team in meeting sales targets.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct performance evaluations, compensation, hiring, disciplinary actions, and termination of team members
- Service existing accounts and establish new accounts at designated location or assigned geographical coverage area in order to increase revenue for the bank
- Proactively approach Citi clients to establish real needs, understand the client and their requirements, and interest them in Citi’s products
- Provide advice and product information to Citi clients as appropriate, outlining features and benefits
- Identify cross-selling opportunities to sell other products
- Achieve or exceed decided sales targets
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
Qualifications:
- Previous relevant experience preferred
- Experience in financial sales, customer service and management required
- Proficient computer skills
- Proactive leadership and motivational skills
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
- Creative problem solving and decision-making skills
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience

- Funciones del puesto y principales tareas:
- Gestionar la relación con el Socio Comercial: Atender y dar seguimiento puntual a las peticiones/solicitudes del Socio.
- Coordinación, comunicación y trabajo en equipo con áreas internas (Ventas, Gerencia de Producto, Promociones, Riesgo/Control, Finanzas, Operaciones, etc.)
- Administrar y asegurar el cumplimiento efectivo del plan de aperturas y cierres de puntos de ventas dentro del Canal de Socios Comerciales.
- Ser el punto de contacto entre el Socio Comercial y el Negocio para el cumplimiento y alcance de objetivos.
- Impulsar y dar seguimiento a Programas, Campañas y Estrategias para la colocación de Tarjetas de Crédito dentro del Canal de Socios Comerciales.
- Desarrollar e implementar estrategias en conjunto con el Socio Comercial de acuerdo con las necesidades del proyecto
- Elaboración de proyección de gasto de los proyectos relacionados con los Socios Comerciales
- Requisitos indispensables
- Licenciatura en Administración/Negocios o afín.
- 2-3 años de experiencia de relación con socios o proyectos comerciales preferentemente en el sector financiero.
- Experiencia coordinando múltiples áreas y proveedores.
- Organización y seguimiento.
- Excel Intermedio y Power Point (Reportes, Tablas dinámicas, análisis y presentaciones ejecutivas)
- Habilidades de comunicación, negociación y enfoque a cumplimiento de objetivos.
- Requisitos deseables
- Experiencia en servicios financieros
