Job Overview

The Credit Initiation Specialist 4 is an entry level position responsible for assisting in assessing the ability of individuals, companies and institutions to meet the demands of loans, agreements and extended obligations in coordination with the Operations - Services team.The overall objective of this role is to minimize threats to the company by determining the terms or level of credit that can be granted without undue risk.

Responsibilities:

  • Apply a higher credit authority limit, credit limits may vary depending on the country
  • Support an expansive array of products/services under limited supervision
  • Demonstrate technical/administrative expertise
  • Apply understanding of how duties relate with others in the unit and how the unit integrates with others in accomplishing function objectives
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years relevant experience
  • Specialized functional area skills and basic knowledge of underlying professional/technical principles or standards
  • Knowledge of broad work area procedures and activities
  • Attention to detail and task accuracy
  • Detailed knowledge of a wide range of specialized administrative/technical skills
  • Must pass all local requirements from a policy standpoint to analyze credit viability
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication

Education:

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • Experiencia requerida

Experiencia mínima de 2 años en el proceso operativo del Intercambio Bancario o relacionada con la operación bancaria o puestos Administrativos

Conocimientos Contabilidad básica (deseable), administración y análisis de información.

Inglés básico (deseable), manejo de paquetería Office, apego a políticas institucionales, trabajo bajo presión, iniciativa, trabajo en equipo, orientación a resultados, análisis de información, actitud de servicio, proponer soluciones a las necesidades detectadas.

  • Conocimientos

Conocimientos Contabilidad básica (deseable), administración y análisis de información.

Inglés básico (deseable)

Manejo de paquetería Office con foco en hojas de cálculo y de base de datos

  • Objetivo del puesto

Realizar el proceso de conciliación del Intercambio Internacional con Mastercard / VISA por transacciones de compras y/o disposiciones de efectivo realizadas con tarjetas de crédito/ debito

  • Objetivo del área

Liquidar, conciliar y compensar la actividad generada en el intercambio Emisor / Adquirente Nacional e Internacional, derivada de operaciones por consumos y disposiciones realizadas con tarjetas en Comercios (POS) y Cajeros Automáticos (ATM’s)

  • Funciones principales del Puesto

Realizar el proceso de conciliación del Intercambio Internacional con Mastercard / VISA por transacciones de compras y/o disposiciones de efectivo realizadas con tarjetas de crédito/ debito

Realizar cuadre de cifras diario

Elaborar la información contable del día para la compensación diaria

Efectuar el control diario de las partidas contables generadas

Trato directo con Bancos, Cámara de Compensación y Gerencias de Producto

Elaboración de información estadística

Aplicación de controles al proceso

  • Habilidades técnicas / Competencias que debe tener el Candidato

  • Habilidades interpersonales de relacionamiento con personal de áreas diferentes y personal externo
  • Habilidades de comunicación oral y escrita para la creación de documentos de trabajo y entregables.
