We’re currently looking to recruit a team of high caliber professionals to join us as Officer, Talent Acquisition Services (11 Months Fixed Term Contract) based in Manila, the Philippines. The role-holder will play a crucial role in our Talent Acquisition process servicing, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. This position is an integral part of the Citi's talent acquisition team to deliver a best-in-class selection and onboarding experience for all candidates, including the end-to-end hiring for junior and internal talents, and essential administrative support for mid-to-senior level roles.
In this role, you’re expected to:
- Participate in and assist with the execution and delivery of recruitment activities, including managing scheduling, monitoring candidate status, and conducting initial assessments.
- Screen and recruit junior candidates internally, review resumes and applications to assess candidate qualifications, suitability, and fit for open positions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and other relevant databases.
- Provide timely, professional, and clear communication to candidates, keeping them informed throughout their application journey.
- Administer defined recruitment procedures and prepare ad-hoc updates related to talent acquisition.
- Assist senior recruiters in coordinating and administering broader HR programs and activities.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure:
- At least 2 years of experience in recruiting, staffing, talent research, or candidate generation (agency or in-house), preferably within the Banking or Financial Services industry.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, following a global service delivery model.
- Effective English business communication skills, written and oral, plus any regional specific languages.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive information with tact and discretion.
- Demonstrable proficiency in using HR systems (such as Workday Recruiting and other Applicant Tracking Systems), communication tools (such as Zoom), and working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Must be flexible to work various shifts and/or extended hours in support of timelines and deliverables.
