日本の規制報告に関する日常業務プロセスを実行・管理し、適用されるすべての規制、指示、および期限を厳密に遵守する。
規制および業界のベストプラクティスに従い、正確、完全、かつタイムリーな報告を提供することをモニターし、実行する。
日常の報告管理を積極的に監視し、潜在的な報告問題を特定し、ビジネスおよびテクノロジー部門の関係者に対して状況と是正措置に関する透明性の高いコミュニケーションを確保する。
包括的なプロセス手動を開発、維持、検証する。すべての規制業務のプロシージャと管理がシティのグローバルリスク&コントロールフレームワークおよびレギュラトリーレポーティングポリシーと整合していることを確認する。

資格:
金融サービス業界における0〜2年の関連経験、特に規制報告に関する経験または理解。
書面および口頭でのコミュニケーションスキルを持ち、複雑な概念を多様な聴衆に明確かつ簡潔に説明し、統合する能力。
分析および問題解決能力を持ち、競合、矛盾、および重要な問題を特定し、シニアマネジメントに効果的にエスカレートする能力を含む。
複雑でペースの速いダイナミックな環境において、競合する優先順位と複数のタスクを管理する能力。
プレッシャーの下で効果的に働き、期待や要件の予期せぬ変更や厳しい期限に適応できる協調性のあるチームプレーヤー。
語学力:日本語流暢、ビジネスレベル英語。
高度なExcel機能(ピボットテーブル、VLOOKUPなど)の経験は有利。その他のデータ分析ツール(SQL、Python、データ可視化ソフトウェアなど)に精通していることは尚可。

Team/Function Overview:
The Regulatory Reporting team operates as a critical component within Data and Regulatory Operations, responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timely submission of regulatory reports to local Japanese authorities. This role provides a unique opportunity to gain exposure across various functions at Citi, including Technology, Finance, Business Units, and Compliance, making it a pivotal position for an individual looking to build a career in regulatory compliance and data management within a global financial institution. The team plays a vital role in upholding Citi's commitment to regulatory excellence and operational integrity.
In this role, you’re expected to:
Execute and manage business-as-usual processes for Japan Regulatory Reporting, ensuring meticulous adherence to all applicable local regulatory rules, instructions, and deadlines.
Oversee and guarantee the daily delivery of accurate, complete, and timely reporting as mandated by regulation and industry best practices.
Proactively monitor daily reporting controls, identify potential reporting issues, and ensure transparent communication of status and remediation efforts to key stakeholders across business and technology functions.
Develop, maintain, and verify comprehensive process manuals. Ensure all Regulatory Operations' procedures and controls align with Citi’s Global Risk & Control framework and Global Regulatory Reporting policies.
Foster strong working relationships and collaborate effectively with colleagues from Operations, Technology, Compliance, Finance, Risk & Control, and Business to achieve transparent and aligned objectives.
Actively assist in addressing inquiries and providing documentation to regulators, compliance testing teams, and internal and external auditors.
Partner with global team leads and reporting peers to contribute to the development and execution of a global book of work, focusing on implementing new regulatory requirements, enhancing productivity, and strengthening controls.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives by advocating for and implementing process enhancements to reduce manual interventions, increase operational efficacy, and improve data accuracy.
Perform additional duties as assigned to support team objectives and evolving regulatory landscapes.
As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure:
0-2 years of relevant experience within the financial services industry, specifically with exposure to or understanding of regulatory reporting.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the proven ability to articulate and synthesize complex concepts clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
Strong analytical and technical problem-solving capabilities, including the ability to identify conflicts, discrepancies, and critical issues, and effectively escalate them to senior management.
Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and multiple tasks in a complex, fast-paced, and dynamic environment.
A collaborative team player who can work effectively under pressure and adapt to tight deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations and requirements.
Language Proficiency: Japanese Fluent, English Business Level
Exposure to advanced Excel functionalities (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) is an advantage. Familiarity with other data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python, data visualization software) is a plus.
