Job Overview

Architecture Lead Analyst - C13

The Architecture Lead Analyst is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. Recognized technical authority for an area within the business. Requires basic commercial awareness. There are typically multiple people within the business that provide the same level of subject matter expertise. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Significant impact on the area through complex deliverables. Provides advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business. Work impacts an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family.

Key Responsibilities

1. Technology Strategy & Architecture

  • Architectural Vision & Execution: Align to the architectural vision for all IT systems, ensuring alignment with enterprise blueprints and business strategy.

2. Data Governance & Quality Management

  • Data Accountability: Act as the central point of accountability for the quality and integrity of all data within the enterprise inventory.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Remediation: Lead rigorous and proactive follow-up with application owners and technology stakeholders to ensure data discrepancies are corrected in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Governance & Analysis: Chair data governance meetings to review quality metrics, track remediation progress, and conduct root cause analysis of errors to implement preventative measures and enforce accountability.

3. Leadership & Stakeholder Influence

  • Advisory & Influence: Serve as a key technical advisor, using strong communication and diplomacy skills to guide and influence technology and architecture decisions across the organization.
  • System Enhancement: Collaborate with technology partners to recommend and implement system enhancements, automated controls, and tools to improve data capture, maintenance, and overall quality.
  • Complex Problem-Solving: Apply sophisticated analytical thought to diagnose and resolve complex technical, business, and data-related challenges.

4. Risk Management & Compliance

  • Risk & Control Oversight: Champion a robust risk management culture by assessing risk in all business decisions and ensuring all inventory data meets the stringent standards required for regulatory reporting, internal audits, and risk management processes.
  • Compliance Adherence: Drive compliance with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to company policy and applying sound ethical judgment in all business practices.

Qualifications:

• 10-12 years relevant experience
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication • Management and prioritization skills
• Ability to develop working relationships
• Ability to manage multiple activities and changing priorities
• Ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines
• Self-starter with ability to take the initiative and master new tasks quickly
• Methodical, attention to detail

Education:

• Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Masters degree
