Job Overview

The Senior Process Engineer is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. Role and responsibilities of a Senior Process Engineer include focusing on partnering with Global Process Lead and across CSC Process Leads for one of SCO’s 7 global processes to drive process design, standardization, documentation, and adoption. This is a seasoned professional role requiring deep knowledge and experience in process improvement, data analysis and service delivery management (customer and stakeholder engagement). The role involves collaborating across teams globally, analyzing data, identifying improvement opportunities, and leading initiatives to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.


Responsibilities:

  • Establish strong partnership with the Global Process Lead (GPL) and CSC Process Leads to drive process standardization, improvement, documentation and adoption.

  • Evaluate process improvement opportunities and design efficiencies for potential solutions (i.e., tech / non-tech, including cost/benefit analysis); aligns to IR/CR as needed; manage book of work, participates in prioritization and drives execution

  • Engage with Systems Operations on technology enhancements in close coordination with the operations team to ensure seamless delivery and implementation of system enhancements, identify issues and drive resolution.

  • Conduct process reviews to ensure standards are adhered to and drives exception elimination; maintains exception inventory

  • Support GPL in driving productivity initiatives and promoting a continuous improvement culture

  • Drives implementation of process-related O&T initiatives including OPRF, Capacity Planning

  • Drives key transformation initiatives ensuring accountability, timely delivery and seamless execution

    • Define scope, objectives and deliverables to support business goals in collaboration with GPL and stakeholders

    • Effectively communicate project expectations to the project team and stakeholders

    • Proactively track project milestones and deliverables, identify and manage dependencies

    • Develop and deliver progress reports and presentations

  • Prepares and delivers executive presentations to seniors on key initiative updates and accomplishments

  • Function effectively within a multi-disciplinary engineering project team and ensure delivery of a process solution that meets the required outcomes and budget.

  • Assess/Identify innovation opportunities and/or explore new sources of growth, including new value propositions.

  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.


Qualifications:

  • 6-10 years' experience in process engineering/Transformation and Lean required              

  • Strong knowledge of end-to-end P2P Accounts Payable Process with deeper understanding of supplier onboarding

  • Strong leadership, influencing and matrix management skills, with ability to motivate diverse groups of individuals and successfully present information to seniors and stakeholders for collaboration.

  • Proven ability to influence and affect end-to-end process change through indirect authority, and drive results with a high degree of accountability.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to establish rapport and build effective relationships across functions, regions, and all levels of management.

  • Advanced Program change and implementation skills to drive process standardization in a multi-cultural, cross-product environment.

  • Proven executive problem-solving, critical thinking and root issue dimensioning capability.

  • Strong record with organizational and project management skills, ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced, high pressure, dynamic environment.

  • Self-starter, results-oriented, positive attitude, flexible, adaptable, responsive, and high energy.

  • Advanced innovative and conceptual thinking in complex and unchartered organizational model development.

  • Exceptional ability to manage ambiguity and multiple priorities across stakeholders.

  • Proven strategic thinking and tactical and execution across multi-geographical teams

  • Expert time and task management competencies with exceptional attention to detail.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree, master’s degree preferred
