Job Overview

Citi's Enterprise Resilience (ER) organization is seeking an experienced Third Party Continuity of Business (CoB) professional to serve as part of the ER Third Party Testing & Assessment Team. The candidate will be responsible for Third Party CoB testing, assessments, risk management, governance, oversight and controls and will need to establish strong relationships with business and technology teams and various key cross-functional programs including Third Party Management, Sourcing and others.
The COB & CM Senior Analyst is a seasoned professional role. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required.
Regularly assumes informal/formal leadership role within teams. Involved in coaching and training of new recruits.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepares, coordinates, and participates as needed in External Third-Party testing efforts: including but not limited to, coordination of internal and external resources, test schedules, test execution, results tracking and necessary follow-up.

  • Monitors progress of standardized Third Party testing and risk assessments, quality reviews; tracks exceptions and gaps, address risks as appropriate.

  • Follows the ER Third Party testing and assessment processes, prepares and presents testing and assessment results to ER Third Party leadership team.

  • Follows up with Third Party and Citi stakeholders to ensure critical and high risks are appropriately and directly mitigated.

  • Communicates testing or assessment schedules, progress, and potential issues to stakeholders, ensuring their understanding of associated risks and actions needed to remediate risks.

  • Partners with business and technology teams, Third Party Management, Sourcing, and other functional teams within ER to support the control execution for the assigned Third Party portfolio.

  • Participates in the continuous improvements of the resiliency assessment methodology and tools, provides support to partner teams on Internal Audits and External/Regulatory Examinations.

  • Ensures compliance with Citi enterprise policies and procedures, and adherence to Citi’s Code of Conduct. Leads specific technology resilience discussions with external third parties, country- cluster- and global business teams and technology support teams.

  • Project management, data analysis and reporting ability; with a good understanding of supporting technologies (applications, reporting tools, and data presentation) is a plus

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years Experience in Third Party/third party oversight, risk and relationship management.

  • Expertise in Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, and/or Operational Risk is strongly preferred

  • Competency in application technology, technology platforms, cloud architecture and emerging technologies is a strong advantage

  • High command of verbal and written English; knowledge of other language(s) is a plus

  • Strong communication and influencing skills are required

  • The job requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources

  • Self-motivated and detail oriented, with the ability to juggle multiple competing priorities in a demanding environment

Soft skills:

  • Track record as a strong analyst – recognized as able to deliver work in pressured environments.

  • Hands on approach and able to manage own work load whilst taking direction.

  • Attention to detail and ability to discuss document and confirm process flows.

  • Sufficiently experienced to provide feedback for areas of improvement and realign strategy accordingly.

  • Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.

  • Advanced project management, data analysis and reporting ability; with a good understanding of supporting technologies (applications, reporting tools, and data presentation).

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business or technology related field required or 5+ years of equivalent work experience in Third Party oversight, risk, relationship management and/or technology. Knowledge of Citi business operations is a plus.
