Team/Role Overview

Through managing the day-to-day invoice and expense transactional process related questions, Citi’s SCO Service Desk Team plays a pivotal role in supporting Citi’s mission. We are seeking a Service Desk Manager to join our dynamic team. Your job will be focused on leading the team handling customer inquiries, handling high level Supply Chain Operations related escalations with a primary focus on effective stakeholder management, driving process improvements and efficiencies.

What you’ll do

• Lead and mentor a small Operation Support team (typically up to 10) through delegating daily tasks and responsibilities as well as recommending new work procedures to help streamline operations.
• Conduct training, monitor quality and quantity of team’s work.
• Provide feedback on performance, including making recommendations on pay increases, promotions, terminations, etc.
• Analyse Operations information and make evaluative judgements to solve problems
• Identify and resolve routine problems and operational issues with broader departmental impact within established procedures
• Identify hiring needs to ensure adequate staffing
• Serve as a backup for more senior manager, as needed

What we’ll need from you

• 2-5 years of related business experience including at least one-year supervisory experience
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills in addition to fluent English
• Proactive leadership and motivational skills
• Proven organization and time management skills
• Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Innovation focused approach with ability to see the big picture
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
