Join our Engineering Team now and be part of our dynamically growing Citi Technology Team in Budapest!
Within Citi, the Perimeter Product Management Team is responsible to provide world class lab services to our Engineering stakeholders, supporting designing, developing, testing and architecting Citi’s next generation cyber security solutions across the globe.
In this role you will be responsible to support the security ecosystems by providing end-to-end support to risk management and compliance related activities, to develop and maintain key metrics for security engineering.
As a Security Service Engineer you will:
- support the PSS teams to fully comply with all Citi and relevant security policies, engineering policies, processes, and best practices
- be the SPoC for any risk related matters within the organization
- establish, maintain and enhance internal stakeholder relationships
- responsible for security product compliance and risk management including but not limited to:
- proactively identify and address any risks or non-compliant items
- ensure all CAPs and milestones are delivered on time or escalated as needed
- ensure any identified risks are covered by issue in iCAPs, with proper ownership, milestones are identified and maintained
- translate the engineering needs to risk language and vice versa
- work closely together with the engineering teams to identify, administer and manage any risks
- work in a close cooperation with the risk management team as well as the respective support teams to address and manage any risk related activities.
- provide operational support to the procurement related tasks, as needed (such as: issuing purchase orders, ensure that all the goods receipts are documented in P2P, invoices are paid in a timely manner, etc.)
- take on day-to-day administrative support for the global security engineering lab
Ideal background:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience
- Ability to prioritize and work independently
- Experience in risk management
- Understanding of TCP/IP technologies
- Understanding of applicable Citi Engineering security policies, processes
- Reliable knowledge of operational procurement processes
- Experience with multiple security disciplines and strong understanding of layered defense concepts.
- Hands-on experience with security products, such as firewalls or proxies
- Basic cyber security knowledge
- The candidate must have very strong technical writing skills and be able to communicate ideas and technical subjects clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences in English
- Accuracy, attention to detail and strong work ethic, comfortable looking at the granular details, yet able to understand the bigger picture and where this data fits in the larger strategic vision
- Quick learner, team orientation, ability to work with counterparts in different areas
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience,
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, Visio, etc.
