Regulatory Reporting Group Manager
International Regulatory Reporting Team has a diverse mix of finance, reporting, business analyst, and risk expertise.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of professionals to support the production, review and automation of current regulatory processes to ensure timely submission of key local regulatory filings
- Manage process improvement efforts to enhance the accuracy, efficiency, and transparency of the regulatory reporting process.
- Facilitate the team’s efforts in addressing regulatory inquiries and examinations, providing accurate information and analysis to support regulatory reviews.
- Partner with senior stakeholders across the firm, including Risk, Finance, Audit to provide updates on regulatory developments and impact assessments.
- Acting as a subject-matter-expert in a relevant professional area, be it in financial risk management, regulatory reporting, Basel, CRR or other aspects of the regulatory policy domain
- Support and drive change management process and participate in the onboarding of new developments for reporting teams. Coordinating cross-functional working groups to manage project scope, timelines and risks.
- People management responsibility includes leading a diverse team of 5-10 colleagues specializing in finance change management
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of extensive experience within the financial services industry and regulatory reporting.
- Knowledge of financial markets, banking products, understanding of key concepts in finance, financial risk management (credit risk & market risk), and regulatory policy (Basel Accords, COREP, FINREP, CRR, and related topics) are considered important assets for this position
- Able to navigate through a large organization to streamline and summarize multiple information points and create repeatable processes to build consistency in presenting information.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with ability to synthesize complex concepts, and influence change.
- Experience with data transformation tools, and data analytics platforms such as KNIME and/or Tableau would be nice to have
- Strategic mindset, ability to plan ahead to future possibilities and translate them into breakthrough strategies.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and tasks in a complex and dynamic and work well as part of a team.
Education:
- Bachelor's/University degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; CPA or MBA preferred.
