Team/Role Overview

Through managing the day-to-day processes, Citi’s Procurement and Third Party Management plays a pivotal role in supporting Citi’s mission. We are seeking a Payroll Migration Procurement Manager to join our dynamic team. Your jo will be focused on leading procurement activities in relation Payroll to procurement and in particular, the Payroll Migration projects across the globe.

What you’ll do

  • The successful candidate will need to have experience at project management and providing updates to senior stakeholders when the projects are on target and also when they might be running behind
  • Legal negotiations will be a key part of this role and experience with negotiations of the terms and conditions in contracts along with the pricing will be an important skill
  • Lead and/or participate in global category governance forums maintaining regular communication with all relevant parties
  • The successful candidate will need to be able forge strong relationships across different geographies, cultures and departments
  • Develop and/or implement market analyses/benchmarking processes and leverage key insights to inform and support the category strategy development process
  • Set strategic direction with suppliers, establish supplier qualification criteria, develop contract requirements and master agreements, model total cost of ownership, and negotiate and manage contracts
  • Lead support for cross functional teams in developing and executing sourcing, supplier management strategies, and complex contract negotiations
  • Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision
  • Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy
  • Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members

What we’ll need from you

  • 6-10 years of relevant experience
  • Global Sourcing/Procurement Expertise:Proven experience in sourcing or procurement within a large, global organization. This indicates familiarity with international markets, diverse supplier bases, and large-scale procurement processes
  • Strategic Sourcing Leadership:Demonstrated ability to lead and manage strategic sourcing programs. This highlights leadership skills, project management capabilities, and a focus on long-term value creation
  • Complex Deal Negotiation & Structuring:Extensive experience in structuring intricate deals, conducting negotiations, and managing contracts. This emphasizes expertise in legal and financial aspects of procurement, as well as strong negotiation skills
  • Advanced computer skills with a focus on Microsoft Excel
  • Demonstrated strategic sourcing/procurement, stakeholder management, relationship management, and influencing skills
  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
