Job Overview

The Digital Solutions Team in is part of the Regional Controllers organization and is responsible for managing various digital initiatives and driving reengineering efforts to automate processes. The team seeks to be a catalyst for change and drive global end-to-end process automation in partnership with other Finance functions and disciplines. The Digital Solution Team’s main responsibility is to expedite the reengineering activities in order to streamline development and explore new solutions.

The Team acts as an Internal Consultation Group for Reporting Teams for short term and ad-hoc automation projects, reengineering of current solutions and will be key in having the standard requirements and any necessary artifacts created.

The role would be involved in monitoring, tracking and presenting the Book of Work and its progress, as defined and coordinated by the Digital Solutions Lead.

Job Background:

The Team’s scope is UK, EUROPE, MEA clusters and Regulatory Reporting in Citi Service Centre (CSC) in Budapest which is a key part of the Finance function. It is Citi’s pioneering centre on a global scale where local regulatory reporting professionals work together in a central location, to ensure consistent quality of local regulatory reporting across multiple jurisdictions and legal vehicles.

The department’s role encompasses from end to end the reporting processes centralized in the CSC for regulated legal vehicles in UK, EUROPE, MEA clusters. Members of the CSC always strive to improve processes and strengthen the control environment, while continuing to make Citi a great place to work.

Responsibilities:

· Manage and maintain the team's project backlog, ensuring it is up-to-date and prioritized as per expectations

· Track and present project progress, identify potential roadblocks, and escalate issues as needed

· Standardize how the progress is tracked across different countries and projects

· Facilitate communication between Solution Engineers and other stakeholders, ensuring clear understanding of project requirements and timelines

· Prepare reports and presentations on project status and performance

· Assist with project documentation and knowledge management

· Support the Solution Engineers in their day-to-day activities

· Assist the Solution Design Lead with any ad-hoc queries

The ideal candidate for this position preferably possesses the following qualifications and skills:

· University/College degree in Finance/Accounting is an advantage

· 2-3 years of experience in a project support or coordination role, preferably within a technology or digital solutions environment.

· Strong organizational and time management skills.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Interpersonal skills and the ability to achieve consensus on priorities as a cross functional team

· Be able to pay attention to details while keeping the overview

· Technology literacy and agile mindset are essential

· Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint knowledge

· Fluent English knowledge

· Has working knowledge or motivation to pick up industry practices and standards (financial products, markets, accounting principles, understanding of regulatory frameworks)

· Excellent cooperation, communication and presentation skills (high level of PowerPoint competency and visual storytelling skills required)
