Team/Role Overview

The Cash & Collateral Management team plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient and proper utilization of cash and collateral across Citi and its subsidiaries globally. This team is responsible for managing financial resources held at Central Banks, Agent Banks, and other Financial Market Infrastructures (FMIs), ensuring timely settlement of payment obligations. You will be part of a global team focused on developing new techniques, improving processes, and contributing significantly to the firm’s financial stability and operational excellence by supporting global Cash Management Operations. This role integrates deep subject matter and industry expertise within a dynamic environment, influencing decisions and impacting the performance of multiple teams.

What you’ll do

• Support global Cash Management Operations in defining, performing, and controlling processes for efficient cash and collateral utilization.
• Manage the firm's cash and collateral resources across domestic and international entities, ensuring timely settlement and optimal deployment.
• Contribute to accurate predicting, forecasting, and reporting for Treasury processes, including cash flow analysis and funding.
• Establish robust controls for all cash and collateral movements, coordinating closely with control functions and audit teams.
• Play a key role in developing and maintaining automated cash management and liquidity systems to track flows, allocate funds, and monitor exposures.
• Act as a subject matter expert, driving business initiatives, developing client solutions, and advising junior staff on complex issues.

What we’ll need from you

• 5-8 years of proven experience in Banking or Treasury functions, with an in-depth understanding of Treasury Funding and Banking Operations.
• Bachelor’s/University degree (Master’s degree preferred) in a relevant field.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate complex issues, prioritize information, and develop effective solutions.
• Excellent written and spoken English, coupled with strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Advanced proficiency in PC tools, including Excel (with macro & VBA programming), Word, MS Access, and Outlook.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, flexible environment, capable of learning and performing multiple functions, with a keen attention to detail and a proactive, goal-oriented attitude.
• Willingness to support occasional work on local bank holidays or weekends as required by global operational demands.
