Job Overview

The Trans Srvcs Intm Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for providing analytic and administrative support to various securities related functions, in coordination with the Transaction Capture team. The overall objective of this role is to support traders, maintain position records, and improve process efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Provide support to Treasury and Trade services, Securities, Cash, Trade, Lockbox, Derivatives, Fund Services, Foreign Exchange, etc.
• Open and amend Letters of Credit (L/Cs), process payments and solve customer issues to ensure efficient daily operations
• Create customized reporting and monitor errors to ensure adherence to audit and control policies
• Respond to requests and deliverables with internal and external clients and vendors
• Resolve problems independently and utilize independent judgment to conduct complex analysis of information
• Participate in ad hoc projects including providing informal guidance or training to new team members as directed
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of experience in a bank industries or in similar roles.
• Proficient in English
• Relevant Degree or equivalent experience
• Demonstrated project management skills
• Ability to work under pressure and manage to deadlines
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
• Attention to detail and intermediate problem solving skills

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience

Es unpuesto 100% operativo de Back Officeque se centra en larevisión, examinación y procesamiento de documentación, asegurando el cumplimiento de normas internacionales y políticas internas del banco para facilitar el pago de las Cartas de Crédito.

• Área Principal:COMEX (Comercio Exterior), enfocado en Créditos Documentarios (Cartas de Crédito Comerciales).
• Enfoque:Operativo, revisión documental, cumplimiento normativo (normas internacionales y políticas internas de Citi), resolución de problemas, mejora de procesos, soporte a equipos internos.

El objetivo principal de este rol esejecutar la revisión y examinación crítica de la documentación de Cartas de Créditos Documentarios Comerciales, asegurando que todas las operaciones cumplan con las normas internacionales y las políticas internas de Citi antes de que se libere el pago. El Analista debeprocesar pagos, resolver incidenciasrelacionadas con las Cartas de Crédito,generar reportesy contribuir a lamejora de procesospara garantizar una operación eficiente y la minimización del riesgo bancario. Aunque la JD menciona "soporte a traders", en este contexto específico se refiere más bien adar soporte a los equipos internos de Front Officeque originan esas operaciones, no a operar directamente en el mercado.
