Job Description:

The Structuring and Portfolio Manager is a key intermediate-level role, demanding a unique blend of product development acumen and strong commercial skills. This position is central to driving growth by expertly mixing product development with commercial strategy. Product development proficiency is key to success in this role. The incumbent will be responsible for developing and executing solutions for Liquidity Management Services across Caribbean and Central America (CCA). A critical aspect of this role is the ability to effectively deal with senior stakeholders and manage complex relationships with multiple stakeholders across 11 countries. The role requires a candidate who can focus on client lifecycle strategy, leveraging analytical insights to inform commercial decisions and product innovation, ultimately aiming to grow market share and enhance the client experience.

Responsibilities:

Product Development:

  • Oversee and drive the prioritization and execution of the Book of Work.
  • Define comprehensive solutions, including control assessments, for new products and features.
  • Act as a primary liaison with global stakeholders, Global Product, Technology, and Operations teams to ensure alignment and seamless integration of new solutions.
  • Facilitate and secure necessary approvals from various committees (e.g., NPA, NAC, PIA).
  • Ensure solution readiness through the development of product playbooks and operational guides.
  • Manage the end-to-end product development life cycle, considering market demands, technology trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Provide insight and recommendations on innovative product development, product targeting, and segmentation strategies.
  • Develop and package solutions for market launch.

Business Accelerator:

  • Lead monthly business review of drivers and pipeline with the 11 countries in CCA.
  • Generate and manage data leads to identify new opportunities and inform strategic decisions.
  • Define, track, and analyze key performance indicators for products to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and analyze Business As Usual (BAU) reports to monitor ongoing performance and trends.
  • Provide comprehensive market insights to understand competitive landscapes, customer needs, and emerging trends.
  • Identify areas where Artificial Intelligence (AI) and other emerging technologies can be leveraged to streamline processes, enhance decision-making, and improve operational efficiency across portfolio management, commercialization, and product development functions.
  • Foster and manage partnerships with FinTech companies and other external vendors to enhance product offerings and capabilities.

Portfolio Management

  • Oversee the client segment under your portfolio is meeting established targets (betas, returns, RLAP, etc.).
  • Provide pricing support to bankers/coverage teams for balances bids and repricing of the client segment under your portfolio.

Commercialization

  • Support commercialization execution, including the promotion of digital capabilities and product trainings.
  • Oversee the management of LMS Clients' Proposals (RFPs, RFIs) and deposits tracking for the client segment under your review.
  • Clearly understand pipeline and become the liaison with sales and bankers to meet commercial objectives.

Qualifications:

  • 5-8 years of experience in product development.
  • Proficient in AI tools (e.g. Copilot, Gemini, Workstation, etc.)
  • Ability to work on the product development agile methodology.
  • Ability to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements.
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Access).

Education:

  • Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish.
