Job Overview
The Regulatory Reporting Business Officer is an intermediate level role responsible to ensure the correct functioning of Regulatory Reporting area within administrative tasks, important projects in the area and being point of contact with global office. The overall objective is to be a trustful partner for the team member in LATM Regulatory Reporting Team applying in-depth disciplinary knowledge to reach solutions and ensure deliverables are completed efficiently and accurately.
Responsibilities:
- Review service quality, production systems, and client reporting within regulatory reporting team
- Analyze complex and variable issues to resolve issues and ensure team deliverables meet performance and quality expectations
- Contribute to planning, budget management and formulation of procedures
- Lead the migration of regulatory reports to the new CSC, ensuring right placement of activities, adequate resourcing, and smooth coordination across multiple teams.
- Owner of the metrics framework, driving accurate measurement of performance, productivity, and control.
- Create and maintain the Golden Copy master list (Report Inventory) for the area, ensuring ownership and accountability across the LATAM Region.
- Design and deliver executive presentations (MBRs, Town Halls, stakeholder forums), tailoring messages to diverse audiences.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
Qualifications:
- 5-8 years of experience in a related cash and trade operations management role
- Proven experience in creating and implementing processes that result in improved business performance
- Effective verbal and written communication and analytical skills
- Advance English (writing, reading, speaking)
- Advance Excell skills
Education:
- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
