Job Overview
The LMS Analyst is an entry level role responsible for assisting the function with any projects and initiatives related to Liquidity Management Services in coordination with the Global Liquidity Management Services Team. The overall objective is to facilitate multiple complex transaction types from end to end, including escalation as needed. defines business issues and formulates recommendations on guidelines, processes or practices. Integrates established disciplinary knowledge within own specialty area with basic understanding of related operational practices. Good understanding of how the team interacts with others in accomplishing the objectives of the area. Develops working knowledge of Operational practice and standards. Limited but direct impact on the business through the quality of the tasks/services provided. Impact of the job holder is restricted to own team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with operational processes and process improvements
- Ensure transactions or processes are executed correctly and are compliant with internal policies and controls
- Performs day to day management of the LMS Product portfolio and maintenance processing, including daily management of in-process, pended, and service-related activities, ensuring LMS requirements are clearly defined to support all scenarios of product creation, implementation and maintenance requirements, to include delivery of very high-quality service to customers and internal partners.
- Facilitate the investigation, documentation and corrective action implementation of transaction services issues
- Aid with the transition, alignment, and stabilization efforts of critical operations functions
- Cross-train for various internal roles within the department, and provide back-up coverage for those roles as needed
- Assist as required for control, risk, daily activities, and transaction services projects
- Perform all required tasks within established procedures and controls to minimize losses
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
- 0-2 years of relevant experience preferred
- Demonstrated operations experience & knowledge
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Project management skills it’s a plus
- Ability to work under pressure and manage to deadlines
- English proficiency
Education:
Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
