Job Overview

The Latam Markets Data Analytics Specialist is a professional role responsible for the hands-on development, execution, and maintenance of data analytics projects as part of the Latam Markets Business Execution team. The overall objective of this role is to build and apply data analytics and advanced technologies to deliver tangible improvements, efficiencies, and data-driven tools for the business.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, manage, and maintain data analytics tools and projects that provide measurable impact, such as time saved and efficiency gains. Create reports and communications to showcase project results and encourage user adoption.
• Execute the hands-on development and integration of Gen AI and other advanced analytics tools to build practical solutions for business problems.
• Build, test, and deploy specific use cases for data analytics and Gen AI across various business within Latam Markets.
• Gather, process, and analyze relevant market, competitor, and internal data to support business analysis and reporting requirements.
• Build and maintain innovative data solutions, dashboards, and reports. Manage the technical execution of analytics projects from development to deployment.
• Partner with Operations, Technology, and development teams to understand integration requirements, communicate business needs, and ensure successful project execution.
• Implement and run tracking mechanisms (e.g., post-project surveys) to collect data on project benefits, such as time saved and user satisfaction, and report on these metrics.
• Communicate project status, updates, and outcomes to stakeholders through forums, reports, demonstrations, and other channels.
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of relevant experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience driving business innovation, leveraging management information, and data analytics to drive results.
• Experience in data analytics and a strong interest or experience in Gen AI.
• Demonstrated knowledge of financial markets, data analysis techniques, and business management processes.
• Fully fluent in English (written and verbal).
• Ability to work unsupervised and adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong analytical, influencing, and collaboration skills.
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
