Job Overview
The LATAM CSC Payments Analyst (C10) is an intermediate level role responsible for ensuring transactions are processed accurately and on time in coordination with the Transaction Services team and aligned to the Service Level Agreement with countries. The overall objective is to apply working knowledge of technical concept to recommend process improvements, and complete team deliverables efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Candidates will operate within a team environment, supporting various operational processes. Manage small team of employees engaged in performing routine clerical or processing tasks
- Advise and resolve non-routine issues within payments operations
- Individuals should be comfortable functioning in a fast-paced environment with multiple client and industry cutoffs and flexible to adapt to a different shifts and process to accomplish the business needs.
- Support multiple and complex transaction types (Payments related), repair, verification, follow up end to end, and escalation.
- We encourage team members to recommend solutions that improve quality and efficiency and reduce risk of operational errors. Evaluate and recommend solutions to problems through data analysis, technical experience and precedent
- Recommend new work procedures that will increase operating efficiency. Recommend/resolve solutions to complex issues
- Ensure team meets performance and quality expectations of assigned tasks.
- Constant commitment of monitoring the Productivity and efficiency in the process and establish along with the Ops Manager immediate action plans to be in comply.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
Qualifications:
- 0-2 years of experience in a related role
- Demonstrated experience with payments management processing and transaction services
- Effective verbal, written, communication and analytical skills
- Effective management, influencing and relationship skills
Education:
- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
