CPSO team comprises senior Banking and Credit Risk SMEs along with specialized staff with a broad mandate spanning all of credit monitoring, portfolio management, collateral management, transaction management, credit risk middle office, quality assurance, issues management and regulatory issue remediation. The team’s objective is to ensure exceptional outcomes for Citi’s clients while sustaining industry leading safety and soundness as regards credit risk management by the first line of defense.
In this role, you’re expected to:
The successful execution of this role requires the individual to demonstrate a wide range of financial, business, and strong inter-personal skills. The primary responsibility for the role is to provide day to day support in the smooth operation of ICM business including:
Assisting with on boarding of new ICM staff members globally (NAM, EMEA and APAC)
Tracking of potential new hires and readiness for new starters - tracking start dates with HR. Gather and verify data accuracy.
Work with Real Estate and other stakeholders to track and plan for future real estate requirements
Raising CMP requests and coordination tech support for equipment and system access with seats, equipment, headset monitors, Laptops, monitors among others.
Support the businesses and control groups with execution of various business, compliance and risk controls, namely
Support in ensuring timely completion of Employee Entitlement Reviews (EERS) for ICM Leaders
Tracking public and private side designations
Support with follow up on Compliance queries and escalations
Maintain strong working relationship with Technology support teams for ground support to resolve technology infrastructure issues.
Track technology initiatives and participate in testing. Support with Continuity of Business (COB) planning and participate in disaster recovery initiatives
Be a central point of contact for 2nd LoD and support functions such as Internal Audit (IA), finance, compliance, technology and operations as necessary for resolution of business issues and ensure ongoing support for the business.
Participate in Internal or external reviews and audits of the businesses
As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure:
Demonstratable financial services experience, including 6-9 years in Banking or FI Industry
Sound and thorough knowledge of Citi´s systems
Significant experience in preparing presentations for seniors
Outstanding awareness and adherence to the control environment
Strategic orientation to ensure the team continues to be positioned as a thoughtful and proactive partner in providing effective resolutions and best practices for Risk Mitigation across Business units
Proven culture carrier.
Well-developed interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and exert influence with and without direct authority
Strong organizational skills with ability and willingness to work under pressure and manages time and priorities effectively with little to no supervision
Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely to audiences of varying levels of seniority
Strong Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) skills
Education:
BA/BSc in Finance or Accounting or higher degree in Business (MBA), or CFA, or any other related subject.
