Job Overview

Required Skills/Experience & Responsibilities:

• 3+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, data visualization and Tableau-specific delivery projects.
• Experience designing, developing, architecting and administrating Tableau solutions for enterprise customers.
• Experience in End to End Life cycle of Data Visualization from Proof of concept, Understanding Product Requirements, Data Analysis, Data Mining, Data Preparation, Creating Interactive/Dynamic Dashboards, Unit Testing, Deployments.
• Experience with Tableau Prep and Data Modeling based on Tableau best practices. Experience working with IT teams to aid in solution design a plus.
• Proficiency with different charts, tables, filters, parameters, table calculations, LODs, blending, joining, R connection, Statistical features & mapping capabilities
• Deep Dashboard design and development experience is a must.
• Design thinking proficiency a must. Translate data into easily-digestible and highly-visual dashboards applications and executive level report deliverables.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in SQL a must.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and software development lifecycle principles a plus.
• Experience with statistical tools (SAS) a plus.
• Results-driven with the ability to take initiatives, handle multiple tasks and shifting priorities and meet deadlines.
• You should be able to respond to business/technical queries from team members and onsite partners.
• You should be able to coach, guide and mentor junior team members.
• Work cross-functionally with leadership, program managers and other stakeholders to understand and achieve business priorities.
• Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills.

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of Experience in Tableau development and maintenance
• Tableau Skills required(Tableau Prep, Tableau Desktop & Tableau Server)
• Proficient in SQL a must
• Proficient in Data visualization concepts
• Know-how on analytic tools (SAS ) a plus
• Big data and machine learning experiences are (R, Python etc.) a plus

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
