The SMBF Production Management organization provides business critical application management and support for our Services, Markets, Banking and Functions client globally.

The Stability Governance Analyst role sits within the Stability Governance team within the Optimization and Enablement function. The role involves working closely with stakeholders to maintain and execute stability governance initiatives and frameworks for Production Management. The ideal candidate will have foundational understanding of production support and risk management within the banking sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of monthly stability metrics and reports for multiple businesses.
  • Perform thematic analysis of stability data to identify key themes and trends that include recommendations on preventative and corrective measures.
  • Assist in daily and monthly activities associated with Focus and Intensive Care application improvement program.
  • Participate in annual attestation and review activities relating to key stability artefacts e.g. Severity Matrices, Change Risk Index, Escalation procedures, Market Event Management etc.
  • Participate in quarterly MCA and audit activities for stability related items.
  • Assist in initiatives to reduce toil and improve data quality in relation to problem and incident management processes.
  • Proactively support continuous improvement activities that enhance stability governance products and frameworks.
  • Participate in projects and ad-hoc requests as needed.

  • Strong analytical and problem solving abilities to identify issues and support solutions.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well within a team and support cross functional activities.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at various levels.
  • Ability to innovate and champion process changes for efficiency and productivity.
  • Proficient in data transformation and analysis. Experience of working with large and complex data sets, translating raw data into actionable business intelligence. Understanding of data science is a benefit.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience in IT governance, production support, or risk management within the banking or financial services industry beneficial.
