Role Overview:

The Infrastructure Senior Tech Analyst is an intermediate-level position responsible for liaising between business users and technologists to exchange information in a concise, logical and understandable way in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to ensure compliance with Software Licensing policies and vendor or 3rd party contractual T&Cs. The successful candidate will support all businesses globally through a centralized process and will be trained in the systems required to effectively serve our customer base. This is not a software developer role, this role is specific to software license management and administration.


Responsibilities:

  • Work on fast paced request management queues fulfilling requests on a first come first served basis.
  • Provide customers with regular communicative updates on their requests and ensure a best in class service is provided throughout the lifecycle of the request.
  • Identify and realize cost avoidance opportunities when completing requests.
  • Perform license availability, alternative product options, and pricing for software products on a request by request basis.
  • Evaluate product requests for completeness, accuracy and appropriate approvals.
  • Build and maintain proactive relationships with vendors, large account resellers (LAR), Citi project teams and Citi Procurement Services (CPS) on software request activities.
  • Receipt and validate software received from vendors and forward request to the appropriate technical teams for final delivery to clients
  • Direct business to resolve non-compliance issues and ensure all adhere to compliance, regulatory & corporate policies & procedures pertaining to Software licensing
  • Provide process guidance and arrange reseller quotes
  • Compile demand forecasts deployment reports and budget commitments to assist Procurement & technology teams with price negotiation

Qualifications:

  • Proven Customer Service Experience and Request Management Experience
  • Automation / AI experience (advantageous but not essential)
  • Relevant experience in IT/ Business Office with a proven track record of operational process change and improvement
  • Experience in data analysis with intermediate/advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills
  • Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • Proven ability to manage multiple activities and build/develop working relationships
  • Proven self-motivation to take initiative and master new tasks quickly
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and approach work methodically with attention to detail

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
