Team/Role Overview
The Insights and Analytics Operating Model and Value Lead is responsible for establishing and maintaining an effective operating rhythm across the Insights and Analytics portfolio. The role ensures work is prioritised based on value, risk, and regulatory importance, benefits are clearly defined and tracked, and delivery remains focused, controlled, and aligned to stakeholder expectations.
What you'll do
Working with the Insights and Analytics Leads, own the operating rhythm for Insights and Analytics activities, including planning, prioritisation, review and development cycles
Maintain a single consolidated view of the Insights and Analytics book of work
Lead benefit definition, tracking and reporting ensuring outcomes are clear and measurable
Clearly and in collaboration with Insights and Analytics needs, prioritise work based on risk impact, regulatory importance, financial impact, stakeholder need and capacity
Ensure sound and consistent ways of working, identifying and addressing gaps in control, governance or discipline. This will include end-user computing identification and management
Support leadership decision-making, including re-prioritization and stop / start decisions
What we'll need from you
Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills
Experience in portfolio, programme, or operating model roles within Banking or Finance
Understanding of risk and control or reporting within Banking or Finance
Experience in benefits management and performance reporting
Highly organised and detail-focussed
Outcome-driven
Comfortable challenging constructively
Credible and trusted with senior stakeholders
