Are you a highly motivated final-year student with a passion for global markets and a drive to succeed in sales? Citi is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Corporate FX Sales Trainee to join our dynamic Markets Department! This is an incredible opportunity to gain hands-on experience, work alongside seasoned professionals, and develop a deep understanding of the exciting world of Foreign Exchange.

What You'll Do

As a Corporate FX Sales Trainee, you'll be an integral part of our Sales team, contributing to the daily operational workflow and gaining invaluable real-world experience. You will:

• Client Service: Assist the Sales team in providing top-notch service to clients in the buying and selling of securities, derivatives, and FX.
• Transaction Management: Book transactions and accurately process brokerage orders.
• Client Communication: Proactively follow up with clients on pending instructions and documentation.
• Solution Development: Collaborate with business partners to understand and analyze clients’ businesses and exposures, helping to develop tailored FX sales solutions.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking a bright, ambitious, and driven individual who is eager to learn and contribute. The ideal candidate will possess:

• Academic Excellence: A GPA of 3.3 or above, demonstrating a strong academic record.
• Analytical Skills: Proven ability to analyze complex information and draw meaningful conclusions.
• Communication Prowess: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, English, Russian/Kazakh are must haves, with the ability to clearly and concisely convey information.
• Teamwork & Collaboration: A collaborative spirit with a focus on achieving group and client objectives.
• Problem-Solving Aptitude: An innovative and creative approach to solving problems.
• Attention to Detail: Quick thinking and detail-oriented mindset
• Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s/University or Master's degree (graduating the following year)
