The Audit Manager is an intermediate level role responsible for performing moderately complex audits and assessments of Citi’s risk and control environments in coordination with the Audit team. The overall objective is to utilize in-depth subject matter expertise to ensure that the firm meets audit standards and regulations and to work with business leaders to determine solutions for emerging issues.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute audit plans in dedicated area – Sales & Product

  • Willingness to execute audits in all Bank’s areas

  • Willingness to work with different managers  

  • Consistently develop, execute and deliver audit reports in a timely manner, in accordance with Internal Audit and Regulatory standards

  • Review and approve the Business Monitoring Quarterly summary and serve as lead reviewer for all reviews

  • Collaborate with teams across the business and determine impact on overall control environment and audit approach

  • Manage audit activities for a component of a product line, function, or legal entity at country level

  • Leverage an expertise to manage a team

  • Advise the business on change initiatives, while advancing integrated auditing concepts and technology adoption

  • Recommend interventions to issues, propose solutions for risk and control problems, partner with Directors and Managing Directors to develop approaches for broader corporate issues

  • Apply in-depth understanding of Internal Audit standards, policies and regulations to a specific product or function area

Qualifications:

  • Relevant experience in Audit

  • Related certifications (CPA, ACA, CFA, CIA, CISA or similar) preferred

  • Effective stakeholders management

  • The ability to effectively and independently convey difficult messages to business partners

  • Proven ability to make decisions independently

  • High resistance to stress

  • The joy of taking on challenges and leaving one’s comfort zone

  • Effective comprehension of business side of audit function and subject matter expertise regarding technology application

  • Effective project management skills

  • Demonstrated ability to remain unbiased in a diverse working environment

  • Fluent Polish and English

Education:

  • Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred
