Applications Support Senior Analyst

We are excited to announce an opening for an Apps Support Sr Analyst empathetic with the challenges of providing advanced technical and functional support for business applications.  If you are passionate about solving complex problems, collaborating with dynamic teams, and making tangible positive impact to business critical applications, you’ll be at the forefront of ensuring seamless application performance, system optimization and shaping the future of the systems you support.

Responsibilities:

• First and foremost, this is a hands-on technical role.  You will be the go-to expert for troubleshooting and resolving application issues in a complex and diverse environment, ensuring seamless performance and minimal disruption to application service.

• Collaborate with diverse teams, from software engineering to system admins, to implement innovative security solutions and deliver impactful system enhancements in to production.

• Drive continuous improvement by identifying root causes, optimizing processes, and spearheading proactive measures for system reliability.

• Be a trusted advisor to new or more junior support analysts.

Qualifications:

• 5 years’ experience in an Application Support role, troubleshooting and performance optimization.

• Hands-on experience with incident and problem management, leveraging analytical skills to identify underlying root causes and deliver effective, sustainable solutions.

• Strong communication skills, capable of translating technical issues into user-friendly insights and fostering trust with stakeholders. 

• A collaborative and organized mindset with the flexibility to adapt to fast-moving requirements and re-prioritization.         

• Familiarity with some programming languages and willingness to learn.

• We value a combination of formal education, hands-on experience and demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies.

• You will likely have a university degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.  Relevant work experience will be considered as an alternative.

• Certifications in relevant technologies such as ITIL, public cloud providers etc. would be considered beneficial.
