About Business Architecture:

Business Architecture (BA) is an organization responsible for the governance of Business Processes and the applications that support those Processes across Citi.  The Process Ownership team within BA partners with business lines and functions to establish and execute the framework, which includes requirements of how we govern Citi’s Processes consistently based on agreed frameworks.

Job Description

This role, Process Ownership Execution Lead,  will lead activities that cross the BA Process Ownership Team and BA team more broadly, with the goal of managing key stakeholder communications. Role will develop presentations for consistency and understandability by target audience, from regulators to Citi’s senior management.  In addition, this role requires data analytics skills to support materials with associated data.  The role will require coordination with other enterprise areas executing the inter-dependencies to BA to ensure consistent messaging. The role serves as a strategic advisor and counsel to Sr. leaders across the organization and acts as a liaison between key stakeholders. In addition to managing regular and ad-hoc regulatory and management requests, they will be responsible for working with executive leaders and their teams to  translate the strategic vision to their teams and internal partners, stakeholders and employees. This role will also help define and drive integrated organizational goals by defining objectives, measures and protocols, providing the vision and ensuring plans are aligned, facilitating collaboration, and monitoring progress.

Excellent communication skills required to negotiate internally at various levels across impacted groups. Developed communication skills are required to guide and influence others. The ideal candidate will have consulting experience to understand the objective of the required communications and develop materials to articulate the messaging through engaging materials supported by respective data.


Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Work with the Sr. leadership team to define and communicate strategic goals for the organization. Represent and communicate shared vision across the team and with partners across the company. The person needs the ability develop materials and ability to speak and present proficiently about the organization and should understand the nuances in both that can/should impact the way Citi does business and manages its risk.  Act as an advisor and thought partner to the organization. 

  • Analytics: Ability to use data to support key messaging in presentations through various forms of analytics based on focus of presentation
  • Conduct analyses to drive further insights and promote continuous process improvement to best practices for the organization.
  • Executive Presentations: Lead the preparation and production of executive presentations, including but not limited to board meetings, reviews, all hands meetings, internal and external speaking engagements, offsites, and special events.
  • Communications and Storytelling: Own and drive the internal communication function including team emails, management of the team web site, newsletters, blogs, and video production.
  • Responsible for understanding the BA methodology to drive the execution and operationalization in the organization with stakeholder accountability across the enterprise
  • Develop communication and messaging of latest strategy and updates clearly with appropriate level of detail based on stakeholder – from internal senior management, regulators, Citi’s Board as well regulators
  • Exceptionally strong presentation skills to allow articulation of complex messages in a means that is understandable for targeted audience
  • Ability to analyze data and summarize to support communications as well as highlight opportunities for improvement
  • Ability to communicate progress, status and highlight key risks and issues at various levels of the organization and in a timely basis
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency
  • Support for other  ad-hoc duties and projects, as necessary in coordination with other teams to build and maintain the appropriate supporting infrastructure for business management.

    Skills and Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in global and complex settings with multiple stakeholders.
  • 10+ years influencing technical people/projects with demonstrated success of strong leadership and communication skills.
  • 10+ years’ experience in financial analysis and reporting (within technology is a plus )

  • 10+ years’ experience in consulting Chief of Staff, Business Manager or Financial analyst experience in financial markets, preferred
  • Leadership and adaptability when facing unique challenges encountered to effectively work with individuals in diverse cultures and business environments.
  • Proven ability to work independently and in a multi-tasking, high pressure environment with strong strategic and conflict resolution skills and deep sense of ownership over success of projects and deliverables.
  • Proven ability to lead through influence and partner through conflict to arrive at mutually agreeable solutions, keeping the best interests of the organization and Citi in mind.
  • Proven ability to digest large amounts of information and determine the appropriate level of detail to employ for executive presentations.
  • Strategic and analytical thinker who can analyze technical data to make appropriate process/business decisions/recommendations and shape business strategy.
  • Strong work ethic and a proactive mindset with ability to think “outside of the box” to solve problems.
  • Strong communication skills, with an ability to manage internal and external relationships up to board level stakeholders.
  • Experience managing confidential data.
  • Negotiating skills, demonstrated collaborative and consensus building strengths. Proficient in engaging and influencing large technical teams and executive leaders.
  • Demonstrated experience making technical presentations to all levels of management across the organization in both small and large settings.
  • Prior work experience in area related to analytics and/or strategy consulting
  • Individual contributor with the ability to work in a team of diverse skill sets and cultures
  • Demonstrated success in managing deliverables within aggressive timeframes; ability to cope under time pressures
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills - will have interaction with senior leadership
  • Ability to demonstrate a good level of planning and execution of medium range and long-term strategic plans.
  • Demonstrated capability to develop and maintain effective work relationships with business front office and global functions colleagues
  • Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • Proven ability to conduct research/analysis, organize findings and build presentations
  • Excellent influencing and negotiating skills
  • Education:

    Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent work experience (Master’s degree is a plus)

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$130,880.00 - $196,320.00
