The Senior Tableau BI Developer Lead is responsible for establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with multiple management teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals as well as identify and define necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process improvements.
- Resolve variety of high impact problems/projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards
- Provide expertise in area and advanced knowledge of applications programming and ensure application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint.
- Utilize advanced knowledge of system flow and develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation.
- Develop comprehensive knowledge of how areas of business, such as architecture and infrastructure, integrate to accomplish business goals.
- Provide in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define issues and develop innovative solutions.
- Serve as advisor or coach to mid-level developers and analysts, allocating work, as necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for Reporting architecture, design, and development to support multiple Risk Governance projects in Citi Risk and Controls
- Interface with clients to understand business requirements and provide solutions.
- Implement data visualization and analytics - build dashboard, charts and reports using Business Intelligence tools like MicroStrategy and Tableau.
- Lead and manage the Reporting team at onsite and offshore.
Qualifications
- 6 to 8 years of Tableau experience with some leadership experience as a Tableau development.
- 8-12 years of overall experience in Business Intelligence Application Development
- Subject Matter Expert (SME) in BI Tools, Big Data and Databases for Applications Development
- 5+ years of Reporting architecture, design, and development experience
- 5+ years’ experience with leading and managing small teams including offshore.
- 5+ years’ experience in designing Enterprise Reporting Platforms.
- 5+ years’ experience of data visualization techniques using Industry standard tools like MicroStrategy and Tableau.
- 5+ years’ experience with Oracle, SQL Server, and MS Excel.
- Experience with source code management tools such as SVN, Git/Bit-bucket.
- Extensive experience system analysis and in programming of software applications in a complex global environment,
- Experience in managing and implementing successful projects.
- Experience with Big-data technologies and data analytics frameworks is a plus.
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication.
Competencies:
- Experience in leading and managing small teams including offshore resources.
- Strong technical skills including troubleshooting, analytical thinking, and good understanding of data visualization techniques.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to excel in a team environment as well as work independently.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree/University Computer Science, Information Technology, and Information Management degree or equivalent experience

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:
$113,840.00 - $170,760.00
